Nnamdi Kanu: Flagrant Violation of local and int’l laws by Nigeria govt, Int’l community must intervene before it becomes late
The tyrannical administration of President Muhammadu Buhari have habitually mocked the rule of law by disregarding the order of United Nations(UN), and the ruling made by one of her apex courts on the case between the Federal Government of Nigeria(FGN) and the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Family Writers Press International(FWPI) hereby brings the rascality and gangsterism of the FGN to the attention of the entire World. Through her ironic lapdog; the Attorney-General of the Federation(AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, the Federal Government have expressed outright arrogance towards the judicial process on the said matter.
This unfortunate development was obviously displayed in an appeal made by one Fulani almajiri who was identified by Biafrans in a recent video clip which went viral last week on internet. In that clip, these terrorists garbed in military uniforms could be seen setting ablaze many trucks carrying goods worth millions of Naira. According to the sighted terrorist, "the recent judgement passed by the Appeal Court, ordering the immediate release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, was a mistake capable of causing unrest in the South-East of Nigeria".
This silly appeal coming from the blood-thirsty Fulani almajiri to illegally continue to hold an innocent man captive even after well over a year, was made in absent of good conscience and clear thought; not minding that the recent state-sponsored atrocities committed in the South-East by his collaborators were designed so as to discredit IPOB and the Eastern Security Network(ESN).
As always, we firmly reiterate that IPOB is a lawful organization seeking only the well-being, protection and total freedom of her people. Hence, no amount of intimidation can stop us, because we are very determined and true to our objective.
Furthermore, we continually and respectfully demand that our right to self-determination be respected, and that we be granted a UN supervised referendum, as contained in her charter. It is no longer news that the argument against our indefatigable leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has been annulled even in Nigeria's own court. So, there is no other basis or constitutional reason for continuing to hold him captive.
We are calling on the Nigeria Government for disobeying its own laws which she took oath to execute. And in the same vein, we also summon the "dishonourable" Malami for his betrayal of the noble law profession. We hereby implore them both to do the only honourable thing; uphold the earlier judgment delivered by the Abuja Court of Appeal, and thereby save themselves international embarrassment.
Above all, we call on faithful law makers and law abiding people of the world to condemn President Muhammadu Buhari and Abubakar Malami for their flagrant disregard for the law and justice.
The judiciary is the last hope for the common man. Her pronouncements must be respected.
