PLOT TO JAIL NNAMDI KANU: HOW LONG WILL BUHARI WITHHOLD NNAMDI KANU?

Nnamdi Kanu is still in detention, I keep wondering what's really going on in Nigeria. Seriously, this no longer funny or pleasant, how can a country that calls its self a democratic Nation allow a military manic to transform its whole process into a dictatorship? Nnamdi Kanu was arrested on the 14th of October 2015 by the department of state service (DSS) under direct command from president Buhari and up until now, nothing tangible has been the reason for his arrest. There is no evidence whatsoever that backs up the allegations been levied against Nnamdi Kanu.
Its silly, really silly to see the way Buhari has decided to run his current administration. This is a president who has never for once believed in freedom of speech, talk more of respecting Human Right law. Buhari has no regard for human lives, not to talk of obeying the laws that guides Human Rights. The Nigeria Judiciary no longer has the power to release Nnamdi Kanu because they no longer follow the constitution and the judicial process, instead they are now obligated to do what president Buhari wants, which is to send Nnamdi Kanu to serve a jail term, possibly, life imprisonment, that's why Buhari still keeps Nnamdi Kanu. Take a look at the so-called charges against Nnamdi Kanu and you will see that there is no basis, not to talk of any visible evidence to even back up their claims.
Nnamdi Kanu, the director of Radio Biafra and the leader of indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) has been tortured, starved and treated unfairly by president Buhari, is this not against international and domestic law? An arrest without probable cause? Alright, even if this is a show of power by president Buhari, hasn't he gone too far? When has freedom of speech and self-determination become a "Treasonable felony’, or speaking from a radio station a "Treasonable offence", that's what Buhari and his lawyers has been barking to the world. Besides, didn't president Buhari demand that “the Palestinian people and those of the Western Sahara” be obliged their legitimate demands for self-determination to the United Nations? So what the hack? Nnamdi Kanu is simply asking for the same rights for his people (Biafrans). Its obvious this is just a personal agenda of president Buhari to get back at Igob-Biafrans living in Nigeria, after all he stated publicly, that he will kill more Igbos to keep Nigeria as one and he doesn't owe anyone an apology for the massacre he helped carry out during the civil war against Biafra. As many of you know Nnamdi Kanu, in his message for freedom, he always preached about a non-violence approach when demonstrating and marching for the freedom of Biafrans. Never has there been any incident where any Biafran protester was armed or violent towards any Nigeria security officials, in fact, its been the other way round. Over 5000 Biafran protesters has been killed by the Nigeria armed forces, while over 2,500 has been declared missing or locked up in detentions setup by president Buhari. Amnesty International even confirmed all these to be true when they concluded their investigations.
Even arresting Nnamdi Kanu without any probable cause or evidence to back-up any allegations is a complete violation of human rights law, constitution democracy, humanitarian norms and the principle of law. That's the more reason why Nigeria ought not to be called a Nation talk more of a country, because the level of lawlessness going on there, is so alarming. Goodness, the federal republic of Nigeria under president Buhari is now becoming a bizarre innovative display for the whole world to gaze at. The most pathetic aspect of all the deadly happenings going on in Nigeria is that the world media are all aware of this violations and injustice but none has come out to show the world what's truly occurring in Nigeria, Not CNN, BBC, EURONEWS, AL JAZEERA, MSNBC, FOX NEWS, none. Are Biafran lives less relevant? why hasn't the United Nations, Human Rights, European Union, Britain, America, France, Germany, China even Amnesty International who confirmed all these killings of Biafrans and the injustice going in Nigeria done anything to stop it or bring those accused to justice, at least caution president Buhari against the constant violations of Human Right law, freedom of speech and expression, is that too much to ask?
All international organizations were setup to promote and protect human rights at the international level, regional, and domestic levels. These organisations have areas of responsibility, such as:
•Promoting human and people’s rights
•Protecting human and people’s rights
•Interpreting the African charter on human and people’s rights
•Strengthening democracy
• Working for peace
• Combating corruption
• The rights of indigenous peoples, and promoting sustainable development.
So what’s the use of these organizations if they are not effective when it really matters? This kind of neglect leads to the 1967 Nigeria-Biafra war, a lesson which is not yet learnt and this whole thing about the continued incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu and General Buhari’s false democratic disposition is increasingly becoming worrisome. Nnamdi Kanu has long been locked up by president Buhari without 'Trial or conviction', he was even granted bail by the federal high court of Nigeria but General Buhari said no bail, not while he's still the president of Nigeria. So Buhari says, no bail, no release, what then is Buhari planning? Kill Nnamdi Kanu? Or falsify evidence and send him to jail? Just like Nelson Mandela, Nnamdi Kanu has now become a prisoner of conscience.
