The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has warned against attacking Igbos during the forthcoming 2023 elections.

IPOB’s spokesman, Emma Powerful, warned that the group would reciprocate any attack on Igbos during the forthcoming elections.

In a statement, Powerful said IPOB would not stand by and allow anybody to threaten or attack Igbos during the elections.

According to Powerful: 

The attention of the global movement and family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the command and leadership of our great leader Mazi Nnamdi KANU have been drawn to a threat from a small village Monarch in Yoruba Land to the effect that they will deal with non-indigenes especially Ndigbo who doesn't vote in the upcoming elections according to the wish of the monarch. This sort of threat tell you all you need to know about the Nigerian selection process which they like to call election. 

IPOB as a freedom movement do reaffirm our non recognition and or participation of (in) the Nigerian electoral process because the results do not represent the will of the people and this is why an idiot somewhere will have the gumption to threaten what they called non indigens and the Igbo nation in particular. While we Biafrans await a date for Referendum, nobody should threaten Ndigbo and Biafrans residing temporarily in other parts of Nigeria for any reason. IPOB want to state unequivocally that any attack in any part of Nigeria on the Biafran people or the Igbo Nation or their properties on account of the choice of individuals to participate and vote according to their conviction during this so called election will be met with adequate and commensurate action.

We urge men and women of good conscience in the North and West to caution their traditional rulers and politicians who want to use Ndigbo and Biafrans as scapegoat in this skewed election process to be very careful and retrace their step. Gone are the days when Ndigbo will be threatened and intimidated during elections. As long as Biafrans has not been given the opportunity to exit Nigeria via a referendum, IPOB will not stand by and watch anyone Nigerian or non Nigerian to threaten Buafrans or carry out such threats against us and get away with it.

 

Even as IPOB do not wish to be drawn into the ZOO politics, nobody has the right to threaten Ndigbo or attempt to compell them to vote for a particular party or candidate.  Any Biafran who want to vote in this election has the right to vote for any party or candidate of his/her choice, and nobody should  direct or threaten them to vote a particular party in their community or state. If anyone threaten to attack Ndigbo and Biafrans or non-indigenes residents in your place, be rest assured that the people being attacked will not sit and watch their property and life being destroyed and will activate their right to Self Defence.

We are urging Ndigbo, Biafrans and non indigenes everywhere to be prepared to defend their property, family and their own lives during and after this election period. Do not allow anyone to use you or your family as a sacrificial lamb this time around. 

 

It is very imparative that we remind those who think highly of themselves and believe they will resort to violence and attack Biafrans that they do not have the monopoly of violence. Until Referendum is conducted and Biafrans exit Nigeria, those who have the habit of threatening and attacking Ndigbo must understand that it will not be business as usual this time around because their lives also will be in danger when they attack others. These nitwits believe that Biafrans are soft targets to threaten and attack at will well they should know that it will not be so this time around. These morons never threatened fulani not vote for any other party except their own party and their own person but rather directed their misguided outbursts against Biafrans and Indigbo. We dare them to attack NDIGBO and Biafrans this time around and see what will happen. 

We are monitoring all the groups, institutions or individuals that threaten to attack Ndigbo. If they use election and that pretext to attack Ndigbo and their properties nationwide, we are ready to answer adequately and proportionately. Ndigbo nationwide must be prepared because they are coming to show us that we don't belong to Nigeria, while they continue to deny Igbo, Biafrans the right to Self Determination. 

Every Igbo person must get ready to defend himself or herself. As long as Nigeria forced and kept us into this unwanted contraption, we are advising Biafrans to be fully ready to meet the coming challenge squarely and unwaveringly.

The Federal High Court in Ebonyi State has on Tuesday, 14th february 2023 declared Ebubeagu militia as a terrorist outfit, illegal and hence disbanded. The Court delivered this ruling, following the Ebubeagu operatives' abduction and torture of the Director for media and publicity in the Ebonyi State People's Democratic Party(PDP) Governorship Campaign Organisation, Mr Abia Onyeike. The judgement ordered the total and immediate scraping of Ebubeagu militia, directing the Department of State services(DSS) and Police to confiscate all arms and logistics in the possession of the Outfit's operatives. It further stated that Ebonyi State house of Assembly has no power to approve such illegal security outfit in the State.

Beginning to recount the atrocities committed by members of this 'criminal outfit' code named Ebubeagu Security Outfit, formed by governors in Southeast Nigeria(Biafraland), is mind disturbing. These criminals held Biafraland under siege, terrorizing the people with impunity. Their activities include wanton destruction of lives and properties, kidnapping, arson, robbery, etcetera. They have usually operated as joint task forces with the Nigerian Police, Army and Civil Defense agents; causing havoc in the region. Ebubeagu has been a killer squad disguised as a security outfit.

Amidst all these, the Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB) through Emma Powerful(the movement's media and publicity secretary) have released several statements, condemning and calling for the disbandment of this dreaded government instituted terrorists in Biafraland. IPOB have on various occasions declared that Ebubeagu operatives are criminals and must be stopped in Biafraland, thereby calling on the governors to discontinue them and their activities. IPOB have in so many press releases exposed directly the evil intents behind the creation and sponsorship of this killer squad littered across Southeast and sugar-coated as Ebubeagu Security to the public. Some of these ulterior motives as exposed by IPOB includes arresting, harassing, intimidation and destruction of both perceived political oppositions, government oppositions and peaceful agitators.

Ebubeagu have demonstrated so much cruelty by burning people's houses, burning market places, Kidnapping and killing innocent civilians at will. For over two years of Ebubeagu's operation, IPOB have been consistent on reporting and calling for an end to Ebubeagu atrocities in Biafraland. It is on record that Ebubeagu operatives were responsible for the murder of over 14 civilians who attended a wedding ceremony in Orlu, Imo State. Ebubeagu is also responsible for the burning down of Eke ụtụtụ market in Orsu,in same Imo State. The Kidnapping innocent civilians in and around Orlu-Orsu axis and recently the burning down of Ikenga Ugochinyere Imo's home in Ideato, all in Imo State. Ebubeagu is responsible for the killing of a Catholic Priest, civilians and other government perceived enemies in Ebonyi State. These and more are anti people activities carried out by these hoodlums masquerading as state security outfit.

To this end, Ebubeagu is responsible for several deaths, murder and destruction of properties of individuals across Biafraland. IPOB stood alone and lonely in condemning their atrocities and confronting them, while the government controlled media usually give cover to  their atrocities across Southeast. While they move with joint task forces commiting crimes, Fulani herdsmen terrorists were busy maiming and killing innocent civilians across Biafraland without rescue from them, or condemnation from any government authority.

This present court decision proves beyond doubts that IPOB  has been absolutely right for over two years and 5-months about the illegalities and bad motives behind the formation of Ebubeagu in Biafraland. Indeed, this court ruling has vindicated IPOB on her position about Ebubeagu activities in Biafraland. And though this court intervention is coming very late, it is a right step at the right direction.

According to the court, "anyone who henceforth sees a person or persons bearing guns or parading in the name of Ebubeagu should treat them as criminals." 

As the people are well exited for the landmark court judgment, Biafrans must take note of these wonderful developments and report anyone going about as an Ebubeagu operative in Biafraland through the phone lines of enquiry, provided by the IPOB Directorate of State(DoS)

The Indigenous people of Biafra(IPOB) Igweocha family hosted Mazi Ikechukwu Ugwuoha(the IPOB Biafraland coordinator), and other national executives in the it 2023 opening meeting. 

The meeting which was successfully held on Saturday, 11th February, 2023, took a very special dimension and enabled the Biafraland coordinator to cover some mile stones in charging the entire IPOB family of Igweocha in respect to the Biafra restoration mandate, and the relentless efforts for the unconditional release of the IPOB Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Okwu Kanu.

All IPOB family members in Igweocha congregated timely at the events venue, as the meeting was started with an opening prayer and the taking of IPOB oath of office.

Afterwards, Mazi Christian Chujor, the IPOB Igweocha acting state coordinator, on behalf of the IPOB Igweocha family, welcomed the national executives in a high spirit and love.

On welcoming the executives, the IPOB Biafraland national secretary, Mazi Chukz Egwuatu was handed the microphone to first address the people. Egwuatu who spoke extensively to the keenly listening audience, admonished the people of Igweocha to remain focused and consistently formidable on the Biafra restoration course.

Thereafter, Mazi Ikechukwu Ugwuoha took the stage and broadly elaborated on how the IPOB's administrative Chain-Of-Command(COC) cannot be compromised; stating that the Directorate Of State(DOS) remains the Apex leadership of IPOB, and IPOB have no other supreme leader aside Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Mazi Ugwuoha warned that the people should never listen to, or pay any slight attention to unvalidated platform of broadcasts, because Radio Biafra is only where we worship. "We call on all the senatorial coordinators, local government coordinators, zonal coordinators and the unit coordinators to go back to the drawing boards, to root and build up their members, educate them to cultivate the habit of listening to the right channel of Biafra news.", he said. 

"As the administrative body of IPOB, the DOS is doing everything possible to see that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is released from the hands of the Nigeria government, and it is obvious. If any group claims they have done something to bring out IPOB leader from detention, such group should tell the world what they have done. DOS members are the ones genuinely working day and night to ensure they secure the release of Nnamdi Kanu, through every possible genuine means. The IPOB legal team are working very hard as well to see that Kanu regains his freedom. Why are some people trying to destroy what Nnamdi Kanu have built, and claim to be fighting for Biafra? This is an impossible task though, but Igweocha must rise again.", Mazi Ugwuoha thundered as the massive crowed shouted YES!. 

In conclusion, Mazi Christian Chujor, the acting coordinator of Igweocha appreciated the presence of all who attended the meeting. He reiterated the importance of unity and love as the agendas of the new year begins. Mazi Chujor encouraged the Igweocha IPOB family to gear up for the already decided Igweocha's rise back in full Force.

Recall that the Biafran town(Obigbo) where thousands of Biafrans were massacred, disappeared by the Nigerian military on the orders of governor Nyesom Wike, is located in Igweocha. This single incident and other terrible onslaughts against the Biafran people there have tried to deter the IPOB Biafra freedom activities in the region. But definitely, IPOB remains unstoppable. 

So, Mazi Chujor reminded the IPOB Igweocha family that they were the most formidable in the whole of Biafraland, before the Nigeria government's well masterminded genocide on the Igweocha Biafra believers. He therefore encouraged all the coordinators to be more focused now and mindful of any possible attempts the enemies might make to infiltrate the family anymore.

Mazi Chujor in continuation, cautioned that any coordinator who failed to be in that meeting should not hold any meeting in the region he/she is coordinating, until the state authority approves the so. He noted that in this very face of Igweocha's rise, things will no longer be as usual. "Everybody must make fresh commitments to this Biafra restoration course. If you are with us, you are in. For those who are out, you are out. The door is wide open to anyone, according to your choice.", he concluded. 

So the state coordinator thanked everyone who made it to the meeting, despite the harsh economic conditions. And the meeting came to an end with a closing prayer of thanks to Chukwu-Okike, at around 5:00pm.

Biafra, as an emerging nation, commiserate and sympathize with Turkish and Syrian citizens for the loss of lives and properties due to the earthquake. We pray to God Almighty Chukwu Okike Abiama to give you all the fortitude to bear the loss.

The global family of Indigenous People of Biafra with the Turkey and Syrian IPOB families send our sincere condolences to the government of Turkey and Syria and the individual families that lost their loved ones during the earthquakes. We condole with you all and pray that such will not happen again. The loss of over 24,000 lives can only be described as tragic. We call on the international community, neighboring countries, and UN to provide urgent humanitarian support to Syria and Turkey and their citizens.

We, the global family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the command and leadership of the great liberator Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu KANU hereby publicly name some of the politicians from South East who are part of the assassination plot against PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. 

As we promised to name the individuals behind this assassination plot when IPOB M-Branch have concluded their undercover investigation.  There are political gang-ups involving APC polititcians from different regions in Nigeria. The South Eastern politicians who are part of this assassination plot are as follows; Supreme Court Administrator of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state, and Senate majority leader, Orji Uzor Kalu.  

The hatchet plan was planned to be executed in any of the states in Igbo land but with Anambra and Imo as preferred states and Abia State. The agenda is not only to brand the Peter Obi candidacy championed by obidients as another Igbo political coup but also to blackmail Ndigbo and IPOB in particular globally, in order to frustrate the Biafra restoration project. If this plot is successfully executed, the APC government will blame it on either IPOB, ESN, or unknown gunmen including the Obidient group. 

This will make other ethnic groups blame Ndigbo and probably take their anger out on them and their properties across the country. We want the Obidients and particularly Peter Obi to be prepared because they will be link him to the assassination plot.  This may lead to another genocide against the Igbos in Nigeria. 

With this IPOB M-Branch exposition of the hidden assassination plot, we know that the evil collaborators will change their game plan, but our eagle eyes are still on them. Our intelligence unit is  top-notch and will continue to expose them further if there is anything untoward to happen. We the global movement and family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the command and leadership of our liberator Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu KANU wish to bring to the attention of the international community and particularly the US  Government, the indiscriminate bombings  being carried out by the Nigeria Armed Forces in Biafran communities using the Super Tucano military jets acquired from the United States of America.

Innocent civilian communites in Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Rivers States, Igweocha and other places in Biafraland, have been bombed repeatedly causing a lot of civilian casualties and destruction of our people's property and means of livelihood.

It is on record that the USA Department of State restricted the use of the Super Tucano Jets to Northern Nigeria to fight Boko Haram, who are destroying people's lives in that part of the country. 

The  Nigeria Government is however, knowingly and deliberately violating  the  terms of the Military jets sale agreement by using them to  bomb villages and rural communities in the Southeast. The US Government  asked Nigeria to restrict the use of the Super Tucano Jets to the Northern part of Nigeria where terrorist groups are very active. In flagrant disregard to the terms of the sale agreement, Nigeria, which is known for breaching agreements and acting outside the bounds of legal norms, have now exposed their true intention of purchasing the Military jets by turning the use of the bombers on Biafran communities and villages in the Eastern Region. This one-sided war being waged by the Nigerian Government against the Biafran people with the help of Military hardware delivered to them by the US  Government  goes to show the conspiracy of the entire Western governments against the people of Biafra. What is our crime one may ask? The crime of the Biafran people is that we dare to demand for our Freedom and Self-Determination as a people, we dared to demand for a Referendum as well as  demanding for the unconditional release of Mazi Nnamdi KANU from unlawful imprisonment in accordance with the order and ruling of the Nigeria Court of Appeal. 

It is obvious that the hidden agenda behind the sale and purchase of the Super Tucano Jets from the US Government is to use them to bomb Biafran territory and annihilate the people of Biafra from their ancestral land, and obviously not to fight terrorists in Northern Nigeria. These same Super Tucano Millitary Jets have not been used anywhere in Northern Nigeria against insurgents because the Fulani led Government of Nigeria has no interest in fighting their terrorist brothers. To them, "any attack on Boko Haram and ISWAP is an attack on the North."

We demand that the US  Government recall the Super Tucano Jets sold to Nigeria for violating the terms of the sales agreement. If the US Government fails to question the use of the Super Tucano Jets on Biafra soil, we shall be left with no option but to believe that the US Government is fully aware,  and supports the use of their military equipment to bomb and kill Biafran civilian population. 

The continued use of these fighter jets on the civilian population of Biafra and in Biafran territory can only confirm our suspicion of the role played by the US Government in the first Biafra Genocide of 1967-1970 and in the ongoing second Genocide against the Biafran people.

The world should notice  and take note of the crime against humanity being committed by the Nigerian Government using Super Tucano Military fighter jets sold to them by the United States of America. 

In another development, IPOB totally condemns the recent attack on a Police Station and on INEC office by unknown gunmen (UGM) in the Idemili Local Government Area of Anambra State. This level of violence and attacks are foreign to Igboland and are against Igbo culture. We maintain that most of these attacks are politically motivated and sponsored by the Nigerian Government and their agent provocatuer Unitary One Nigeria politicians to justify the use of Super Tucano Millitary Jets in Biafra territory against the civil population. 

We are warning all those agent provocateurs being used by the Nigerian Government in pepertrating this heinous crimes against humanity to stop aiding and abetting enemies of Biafra. The attackers and their sponsors are not representing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB, ESN or the Biafra Freedom Movement.

IPOB is a non violent Freedom and Self-Determination  Movement. We have maintained neutrality in the upcoming Nigeria selection that they call 2023 presidential elections. 

The attackers are either aggrieved persons on a revenge mission against the Nigerian State, or they are double agents of the Nigeria Government used to blackmail IPOB and to find false  justification for the wanton bombing and destruction of Biafran peoples' lives and properties. This explains why, as soon as these attacks happen, without any investigations, the Nigeria Army and Police would run off to the media and falsely claim that the attackers are IPOB members. A recent publication of daily mail, online news in the UK, quoted a Nigeria Police Spokesperson in Anambra State who made such false claims against IPOB. This indicates that the UK Daily Mail publishing house has joined the other British journalists in their blackmail of IPOB. It is most important that Journalists properly  investigate their information and stories  before publishing Nigerian Government propaganda against IPOB and Biafran people with the sole aim to demonize IPOB before the International Community.

IPOB will not be distracted or intimidated with media propaganda and blackmail.

Every man and woman of goodwill knows that IPOB is a victim of a grand plan to stop the Self-Determination struggle of the Indigenous People of Biafra, while the Nigeria Government, working in concert with the British Government together with other Western nations are the aggressors. The same Nigeria Government is carrying out the killings, abductions, arson and massacres, while falsely  blaming IPOB for their crimes against humanity in Biafraland. 

One thing is certain though, and that is that in the end, Mazi Nnamdi KANU will be freed, and Biafra shall be restored by the grace of Eze Chukwu Okike Abiama.

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Sunday alleged that its intelligence unit, M-Branch, has uncovered a plot to assassinate PDP’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in the South East.

Emma Powerful, IPOB spokesman alleged that Atiku’s assassination would be blamed on the followers of Peter Obi and the Labour Party, LP.

In view of the state sponsored insecurity ravaging Nigeria, we the global movement and family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the command and leadership of the great liberator Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu KANU wish to alert the public on the Intelligence report at our disposal of plans to attack Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in the South-East and blame it on IPOB, ESN or the Presidential candidate, Peter Obi's supportters, the Obidient group.

IPOB intelligence unit, the M.Branch uncovered a plan by some unscrupulous politicians to cause crisis in the country against IPOB and Ndigbo all over the country. This group is planning to assassinate Atiku Abubakar in the southeastern part of Nigeria and claim it is done by unknown gunmen, ESN/IPOB, or the Obidient group.

This assassination attack will lead to the revolt against Ndigbo nationwide. It will also lead to riots against Igbos in the Northern and Western Regions of Nigeria.  Ndigbo will be massacred mercilessly, and their properties will be destroyed. Even the supporters of Peter Obi will not be spared in these areas.

We are drawing the attention of Biafrans around Nigeria to be very careful and cautious of this evil plot primarily targeted at Peter Obi and IPOB. Their plans are to turn other ethnic groups in Nigerian against Ndigbo and possibly thwart the proposed selection process called 2023 election 2023. The Agendists are jittery of losing the election or Nigeria breakup against their political and economic gains. 

Ndigbo in Lagos and many major cities in Nigeria should be on alert. Plans to attack them have been perfected, and it may consume a lot of people, and many properties may be destroyed. The hatchet plan will be done in such a way that the International Community will blame Ndigbo for the crisis. 

We advise every Igbo person to stay alert and take all precautionary measures to defend and protect himself and herself. The plan of these Agendists is to create confusion and pandemonium in every part of the country to scuttle the upcoming election. 

We are warning the genocidists to stay off because their evil agenda will bounce back and destroy them.  We will soon mention the names of those involved in this dastardly genocidal plan in the next publication if they don't retract their plans. Our intelligence through the M-Branch is fighting tooth and nail to uncover their next move. Many top politicians are involved in this agenda to cause crisis in Nigeria. 

Who can say a word, and it comes to pass if Chukwu Okike Abiama has not said so? Chukwu Okike Abiama will frustrate all the agenda to instigate another genocide against Igbos in Nigeria. Biafra was a country before Nigeria was created by their maker, Flora Shaw, and her boyfriend. The Sun shall rise again and not set until Biafra is restored irrespective of plans to abort God's Divine mandate.

In other words, Ebonyi state government and its security militia Ebubeagu collaborating with the Nigerian Security jointly attacked the APGA governorship candidate Professor Benerd Odoh in Ebonyi state and the Executive governor Dave Umahi must watch the crooked and evil activity of Ebubeagu attacking and ASSASSINATING political opponents of APC party in the region. We advise them to stop this job or we'll come for them. Dave Umahi must stop them act, we are aware that Ebubeagu security militia have assassinated numerous politicians in Ebonyi and Imo States. The attack must be linked to the government of Ebonyi state.
