The attention of the global movement and noble family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the leadership and command of our great leader Mazi Nnamdi KANU has been drawn to the laughable and disgraceful statement credited to one Saleh Alhassan of Miyetti Allah group linking the so called obidient movement to IPOB. Miyyeti Allah is a known architect and breeder of many terrorists groups terrorizing Nigeria since Late Major General Muhammadu Buhari took over power in 2015. 

IPOB knows that these terrorists masquerading as cattle herders constantly linking Peter Obi with IPOB and Biafra agitation are doing so because of their hatred against Igbos and their fear for Biafra. They never linked their Fulani presidential candidates to Boko Haram terrorists and Bandits even when it is evident to all that they are co-sponsors of these terror groups.   Miyyeti Allah, a known terrorists supporting and terror sponsoring group  that the current Fulani Presidency of Nigeria elevated and stylisly glorified to the 4th level of Government are not well informed to know that IPOB does not engage in seasonal jamboree and selection process called Nigerian election. 

IPOB can not drag its hard earned reputation to the mud of the farce called Nigerian politics. We have no interest to legitimise the Nigerian flawed political system by coming down to the level of their crooked and retarded political aberation taking place in and done by Zoo Politicians. Peter Obi is involved in and playing the dirty Nigerian politics while we in IPOB play advanced internationally accepted politics targeting Biafra Referendum. Therefore, Caliphate and their terrorists attack dogs in Miyyeti Allah should face their political opponent and stop linking Peter Obi with IPOB agitation. If Peter Obi believes in what we are pursuing he wouldn't have come out in the first place to contest for Nigeria President. 

The Nigerian terrorist government and their brothers linking Peter Obi with IPOB agitation means they have exhausted their blackmail against Peter Obi, hence they have resulted to tribal politicking. Saleh Alhassan and his Miyetti Allah terrorist group should stop exhibiting their cluelessness and stupidity in the public because everybody knows their role in the current insecurities bedeviling Nigeria. 

Again, to say that IPOB has fallen into obedient structure is a joke taken too far and an insult to this noble movement and to the spirits of all our heroes and heroines who have paid the ultimate price for the freedom of the Biafran people and for the restoration of our Sovereignty. The Igbo people rallying behind Peter Obi are not IPOB members because IPOB doesn't want the evil and murderous contraption called Nigeria to continue to exist and we must break disintegrated the Nigeria enterprise irrespective of whether Peter Obi or anyone else from the Biafran geographic space is contesting in the Nigerian farce of an election.

Nigerians should understand that not every indigenous Igbo, Ibibio, Anang, Izon, Ogoni, Urhobo, etc from Biafra extraction support the Biafra Agitation by IPOB. While some are in support others are against. That's the democratic nature of Biafrans which only Referendum will settle. Therefore,  if the Miyetti Allah thinks that every Igbo person supports Biafra freedom, then they should examine their brain in a psychiatric centre. 

IPOB is not interested in Igbo President or a Nigeria President from Biafra extraction. Our mission is simple. Nigeria must cease to exist as a country so that all the Nation imprisoned in it can regain their liberty, freedom and dignity.

Concerning what that demented soul called Saleh Alhassan said about the killings going-on in the Eastern Region, it is on record that the Fulani are behind most of the killings. They started killing our people since 1945 till date.  But everything that has a beginning has an ending. The time that Fulani will kill Igbos or Biafrans in the North in the name of riots is over.  Let them try it again and see the stuff IPOB is made of. Fulani terrorists are cowards who hide under the cover of the fulani controlled Nigeria Security to cause havoc to other tribes. The Nigeria compromised Security Agencies are the collaborators, conspirators as well as the facilitators of the Fulani terrorists. 

No body should drag or link IPOB with Peter Obi's politics. We have moved beyond the Zoological Republic of Nigeria politics. IPOB have said it several times that we don't know Peter Obi, we have nothing in common with Peter Obi and we do not agree with his political opinions IPOB is a freedom fighting movement and has nothing whatsoever to do with or in Nigerian politics. So long as we in IPOB are concerned, Nigeria is irredeemable. All we want is the unconditional release of our Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and Biafra Referendum date.

Why will shame not befall you? Tell me?

This is a clarion call to remind the political jobbers, Obi-dients, Atiku-lated and Tinubu-larized noise makers, who are beclouded with the unforseen and fake hopes that one miracle or the other would salvage a spilt milk or a rotten egg. The more you support these oppressors, the more you are disgraced and brought to nothing, beware! This is yet another evidence showing the indisputable fact that 'when you serve the interest of the zoo(Nigeria), you must come back in shame'. It is not ridiculous but purely truthful.

Therefore, it is high time our ship is steered towards home. Where else can one be rest assured and safe other than their homeland? God have given us enough signs that should open our eyes to the dangers of being in this contraption. What else do we need? Tell me? Every entrapped ethnic nationality in the contraption should begin to think home. We are going our separate ways. It does not matter what anybody does or believes, because God Almighty have destined it so.

The detained leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has been worried about the fate of political detainees in Nigeria, including Hausa and Fulani, leader of his legal team, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, has said.

Ejiofor said this in a statement issued on Thursday night after his visit to Kanu in the custody of the Department of State Services in Abuja.

He said, “The court-ordered routine visit to our indefatigable client, Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, was conducted at the DSS Headquarters Abuja, where Onyendu is being held in solitary confinement for over 13 months now.

“In line with the new guideline introduced by the DSS, albeit, still in flagrant violation of the court’s guideline, routine visits to Onyendu is still being conducted separately with time apportioned for each person.

“I first met with Onyendu and the opportunity afforded an exclusive heart-to-heart discussion with him. I briefed him on the status of all the filings in our Appeal coming up on October 11 2022, for definite hearing. Onyendu was also informed that all court processes are now before the Court of Appeal, setting a fertile stage for an overripe legal fireworks on that day.

“However, further details on the subject remain private, but we can assure you all, that it will be an interesting argument come October 11 2022.

“Onyendu was also briefed on the other pending court actions affecting Umuchineke still being held in various detention facilities across Nigeria. He was satisfied with the level of progress in each of the individual cases.

“Onyendu can never change, even in solitary confinement, he is deeply worried about the fate of other detainees, including those of different ethnic extractions who are mainly Hausas, Fulanis and others, presently languishing in custody. Instructions were equally taken in that regard, and we are going to swing into serious legal actions to ensure that those concerned regain their freeom.

“Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is truly a liberator, and a gift to humanity, whom everyone, regardless of ethnic affiliation, should be proud of. May the Almighty Chukwuokike Abiama continue to bless Onyendu for his kind heart.

“Onyendu also reiterated his confidence in those steering the ship on his behalf and implored everyone to give them the maximum cooperation needed for maximum output.

“Onyendu further extended his warm greetings, regards and love to you all, Umuchineke, and emphatically admonished for continued peaceful coexistence. The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has said Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State did not stop the sit-at-home order in the state.

IPOB said Uzodinma does not stop capacity to stop sit-at-home order IPOB initiated.

Emma Powerful, the spokesperson of IPOB, said the IPOB cancelled the sit-at-home order on the advice of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

In a statement he signed, Powerful urged people to ignore Uzodinma’s remark.

Following the cancellation of the  Monday sit-at-home order by IPOB since last year, we the global movement and family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu wish to remind Imo State Administrator, Hope Uzodinma that he did not stop Monday sit-at-home in Imo State but our leader through IPOB leadership did. 

IPOB wish to remind Hope Uzodinma that he does not have the capacity to stop any Sit-at-Home order initiated by IPOB. Yes, IPOB started the infamous Monday sit at home last year but subsequently cancelled it as adviced by our Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu due to appeals from the elders and traditional rulers in our territory. 

Hope Uzodinma coming out to say that he stopped IPOB's sit-at-home order in Imo State shows that he is not properly informed. IPOB cannot give order and Hope Uzodinma will stop it because everybody knows that the Supreme Court Governor in Imo State represents the interest of our enemies. IPOB is an iroko tree planted by CHUKWUOKIKEABIAMA and nobody can bring it down. 

We the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, led by Mazi Nnamdi KANU is not responsible for any non-existent Monday sit-at-home that Hope Uzodinma is claiming and yabbing about. So long as IPOB is concerned our people are freely going about their businesses on Mondays without molestations. Our people loves and respects IPOB orders when called upon because they fully appreciate that our struggle is for their wellbeing and that of their Children. 

We had long washed our hands off non-existent Monday sit-at-home order and we have repeatedly made our stand known to the Biafran public. Therefore, any violent enforcement of non- existing Monday sit at home anywhere in Biafra land is done by crimininal gangs of infiltrators led by Simon Ekpa in collaboration with those evil politicians who sent him and his group to try and see if they can delay our march to total freedom from subjugation or stop it from coming. 

We are laughing at Hope Uzodinma for saying he stopped IPOB sit-at-home in Imo. Hopeless does not have the wherewithal to do so. Uzodinma should know that IPOB is not looking at his face before we do anything.

We the global movement and family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the command and leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu wish to raise alarm over the profiling and adoption of some Igbo citizens who are travelling and coming back from Lagos and Abuja International Airports in Nigeria. 

The Nigeria Government and its compromised Security Agencies especially the DSS and Immigration headed by Fulanis at the International Airports have embarked upon illegal profiling and abductions of some Biafrans purported to be family members of or supporters of IPOB movement. 

Nigeria Security Agents at the Airport have taken it as a duty to humiliate Biafrans who are departing or arriving at these International Airports because of the agitation for Biafra Referendum project.

Any Biafran passenger who is unfortunate to have a Biafra related content in his or her phone even without Biafra contents in his or her phone will be arrested and incarcerated by the Fulani controlled security personnel at the Airport. How can an entire ethic group be discriminated and stereotyped against by Nigeria State because they want to exit from terrorists infested country? Every Biafran is an Indigenous Person of Biafra but not all Biafrans are IPOB family member. IPOB agitation for the Independent State of Biafra is legal and supported by International and Nigeria laws. Arresting Biafran passengers whether they are for or against Biafra is not only wicked but unlawful too.

Those illegally arrested at these Airports were not allowed to speak to their families and lawyers. They were also detained incommunicado in different security detentions facilities across Lagos and Abuja. Many of the Biafran passangers that this Fulani government security adopted at the Airport were detained, extrajudicially murdered or starved to death.

Therefore, if this indiscriminate harrassment continue IPOB will have no other options than to ask the people being harassed to resist this unjust profiling and discriminatory policy and action of the Nigerian government security agencies at these Airports. It's quite appalling that out of many passengers at the Airport only Biafrans especially the Igbos are profiled and made to undergo indiscriminate and unlawful searching like common criminals because of Biafra agitation.

But one thing is certain, these humiliations and intimidation cannot stop Igbos in conjunction with other Biafrans from pursuing the divine mandate to restore Biafra freedom. The earlier the Fulani controlled government understand that their unjust arrest, torture and killing of Biafrans will not stop the coming of Biafra the better for all of us.

We are bringing this to the attention of International Community especially UK Government, US government, EU, AU, German Government and other Western countries in the world to prevail on Nigeria Government led by the impostor called Buhari and his Fulani security kinsmen to leave Biafrans alone. Biafrans have made up their minds to exit from the terrorist infested country Nigeria. 

The International Community should prevail on Nigeria Fulani controlled Government to set referendum date for Biafrans to decide their fate in Nigeria. Referendum is the only democratic process approved by UN for people to make their political decision. Nigeria Government should devoid themselves of arrogance and organize Biafra Referendum so that we democratically choose to stay or exit Nigeria. The earlier they take this option the better for both Biafra and Nigeria.

 Nigerian Court slams DSS for unlawful and arbitrarily detaining a man for six years

THE Federal High Court in Abuja has come down hard on the Department of State Service (DSS) and its Director- General (DG) for illegally detaining a Nigerian – Henry Parker Chime – and subjecting him to inhuman treatment for about six years.

Justice Emeka Nwite, in a judgment on a fundamental rights enforcement suit by Chime, upheld the case made out for him by his lawyers, Sampson Ubong and Egbe Okara, to the effect that the DSS and its DG acted arbitrarily and abused their powers.

Justice Nwite awarded N50 million against the DSS and its DG as general and exemplary damages, in addition to N50,000 as cost of prosecuting the suit by the applicant.

According to court documents, Chime, an Information Technology expert, worked with an IT firm, West Digital Ltd, but quit on April 19, 2012 after he had a misunderstanding with the firm’s Managing Director (MD), Afolaso Kiloso.

West Digital Ltd was then an IT consultant to the Presidential Pension Reform Task Force, headed by the now jailed Abdulrasheed Maina.

Men of the DSS were said to have stormed Chime’s home in Kabayi, Mararaba, Nasarawa State and arrested him on February 15, 2013 only to release him on August 22, 2018 after subjecting him to all forms of inhuman treatment, without taking him before any court.

Justice Nwite, in the judgment delivered on June 29, 2022 in a suit marked: FHC/ABJ/CS/215/2019, a copy of which The Nation sighted in Abuja on Sunday, held that Chime effectively proved his case against the DSS and its DG.

The judge noted that the applicant’s case was that he was “on  15th February, 2013, arrested by men of the Department of State Services for no reason at his residence at 47 St. Theresa Street, Kabayi Mararaba in Nassarawa State.

“The applicant was horribly detained in the solitary detention cell of the  respondents at their headquarters at Aso Drive, Abuja from that 15th February, 2013 to 22nd August, 2018 a period of whooping five years and eight months incommunicado, without any trial or court order.

‘’No charge was ever brought against the applicant even at the time of filing this application

“The applicant was tortured through blindfolding, chaining of his hands and legs as well as keeping him in solitary confinement for such a period of time.

“The 1st and 2nd respondents’ allegations that the applicant  leaked or published State Security Service (SSS) information was not only denied by him, but all those whom they alleged the information was leaked to.

‘’At the end, the respondents found nothing against the applicant as far back as June, 2013, yet, they wilfully and unlawfully kept him in solitary detention until  August 22, 2018 when they unilaterally released him, but with a warning not to disclose either his detention or circumstances of same to anyone, otherwise they will re-arrest him.”

Justice Nwite noted that the SSS and its DG failed to disprove the facts and evidence led by Chime, but merely engaged in “feeble and general denial…in their counter affidavit, without denying specifically, the facts contained in the various paragraphs of the affidavit in support of the originating motion.”

This the judge held, “does not amount to a denial of those facts in law. In the instant case, the 1st and 2nd respondents merely deposed that paragraphs 6 – 29 of the affidavit in support of the originating motion are false and untrue.

“They never stated their own side of the story to controvert all the specific allegations of facts deposed in those paragraphs.”

Justice Nwite said he was convinced that the SSS and its DG unlawfully detained Chime, abused their powers and violated the applicant’s fundamental rights.

He held that the applicant made out no case against the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), named as the 3rd respondent in the case.

The judge said: “In this instant case, the 1st and 2nd respondents detained the applicant for a period of five years and eight months in violation of the applicant’s fundamental rights and did not place any materials before the court with which the court can determine the reasonability of the period of such detention.

“I further hold that in the said detention of the applicant, the 1st and 2nd respondents violated Section 35(5)(b) of the Constitution.”

Justice Nwite proceeded to among others, declared the arrest and detention unlawful, restrained the SSS and its DG from further arresting and detaining the applicant on the issue, and awarded N50,050,000 as general and exemplary damages and cost in favour of the applicant.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has warned the Enugu State Commissioner of Police to desist from dragging them into what they know nothing about.

The group gave the warning while debunking the allegation by the police commissioner that IPOB’s security network - the Eastern Security Network (ESN) has a camp in the Enugu Ezike area of Enugu State.

In a statement by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful on Tuesday, IPOB alleged that the people found in the said camp must be those the government recruited to demonise and destroy the group and its security network. 

In the statement, IPOB said, “We the global movement and family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu wish to state clearly to Enugu State Police Commissioner and their personnel that ESN has no camp in Enugu Ezike and anywhere around that area.

“Nigeria Police should stop dragging IPOB into something we know nothing about because of their unwarranted hatred against IPOB members and ESN Operatives.

“The people in the said camp must be those the Government recruited thinking they will demonise and destroy IPOB-ESN. The dogs they recruited have started chasing them and will pursue them till they crumble and become exhausted.

“ESN under IPOB-DOS don't go after those who have no problem with us or our people. We remain a peaceful movement seeking freedom from Nigeria State and can only go after murderous Fulani terrorists in our bushes. Pursuing Police and other Security Agents operating in Enugu State or Biafraland is not our problem because we are fully committed to the restoration of Biafra freedom and independence.

“The criminals the government created to demonise the IPOB movement worldwide have come against them. They will pursue their sponsors to their early graves.

“The Police should stop deceiving the public because what they demanded from the market is what they got. IPOB is only focused on Biafra freedom and not on compromised Nigeria security agents.

“Continuous linking of IPOB on their own sponsored atrocities in the East will not help the government, instead they will regret why they indulged in such hiring and sponsoring of the criminal gangs in the East.

“For the love of our people, the IPOB leadership through ESN has helped to clean some of the mess the Nigerian Government sponsored criminals have created. Nevertheless, the only solution to stopping these criminal gangs is for the Fulani-led Government and the state governors in the East to stop sponsoring cult gangs to demonise IPOB because they can't stop IPOB in this Divine mandate to restore Biafra.”
