Biafra: The Alarming Security Onslaught Against Innocent Citizens Of The South-East Nigeria

Biafra: The Alarming Security Onslaught Against Innocent Citizens Of The South-East Nigeria

Bullets used by Nigerian military against unarmed civilians

Recent reports have clearly shown the relentless carnage, unwarranted/ unprovoked attacks, killings and the wanton destruction of lives and properties in the South-East region, by the combined team of Nigerian security operatives. The Nigerian army, police and personnel of the Department of State Security (DSS), have unabatedly being unleashing terror and mayhem on the innocent civilian population in most communities in the region. Places like Izombe, Orlu, Njaba, Orsu Ihite-Ukwa, etecetra, all in Imo State, have so helplessly been ravaged by the murderous incursion of these security agencies.

In Enugu and Ebonyi States respectively, innocent civilians were equally not left out. Quite a number of people have been indiscriminately killed by the Nigerian armed forces, in fulfillment of the hate and genocidal agenda of the Nigerian government. Not yet satisfied with acts of terrorism being driven by the unknown gunmen against the Igbo populace even in Igboland, the government of the day, has deployed its killing machine against the indigenous land owners of Orsumoghu community in Anambra State with airstrikes, terrifying gunfire and killing of unarmed, innocent civilians. Homes are indiscriminately being destroyed and many, rendered refugees in their own community.

It is therefore provocative, imagining what the Nigerian army should be doing in communities with such concentration of heavy military armories both day and night. Immeasurable number of atrocities are being committed at will, against the very citizens that needed protection. What then forms the difference in activities between the Nigerian armed forces and the Islamic terror groups? People are being killed at will and properties worth fortunes, wantonly destroyed, without perpetrators being held accountable.

The global community is hereby put on notice pertaining this relentless murderous drive of the state against the people of the South-East region in Nigeria, who are entirely Igbos. It is not totally clear, the reasons behind this criminal onslaught but one could simply conclude that the aim revolves around the total subduing and enslavement of the people by the Fulani run Nigerian government. The agony being visited on these people and the environs, is purposed to create fear and submission which will serve as a ready platform to completely clampdown on the agitators for self-determination. The uncompromising quest for an independent Biafran nation via a referendum, seems to be increasingly unsettling the camp of the Fulani oligarchy and their cabals. The Nigerian government through its actions and inactions, has proven to be the sponsor of the growing number of terror attacks and mayhem, that are ravaging the communities of the South-East region. The world should therefore note that the Igbos amongst other indigenous people groups within the old Eastern part of Nigeria, are only legally exercising their rights to self-determination like it is obtainable elsewhere. It is never a crime!

This is being sought through the United Nations recognized right to independence via a democratic process of referendum. The Nigerian government which is disobediently, employing the machinery of force, violence, repression, death and destruction against the people, should be seen as questioning the very integrity of the world even as a signatory to the charters of the United Nation on self determination. The international community should as a matter of urgency, come to the aid of the South-Eastern people before things worsen. The Nigerian government and its security agencies should be held accountable for the many acts of genocide that are being meted on humanity in this part of the world. This acts of criminality should never ever be allowed to continue nor go unpunished.

IPOB Is Not A Terrorist Organization

IPOB Is Not A Terrorist Organization

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), constitutes a nation with the South-East region of Nigeria, being an integral part. They are the indigenous people with their kit and kin in the Souh-South region and parts of the Middlebelt of Nigeria that are seeking for freedom. History has it that in the year, 1914, the British colonialist, Lord Fredrick Lugard, supervised the amalgamation of the old Eastern region (Biafra), Northern region (Arewa) and the Western region (Oduduwa) as one entity. Having successfully carried out  this task, he proceeded further through the suggestion of his girlfriend, Flora Shaw, to name it Nigeria. Any of the component parts that desired pulling out of the union at the expiration of one hundred years, was given a legitimate right to do so.

The Biafran indigenous people it should be clearly stated here, have been in existence for hundreds of years before Nigeria was crafted. Biafra then was relatively peaceful, lovely and progressive. Indigenes, no matter the part of the Biafran nation he/she came from, loved and cherished their culture and tradition, as brethren. There was care, unity, peace, trust and security. Biafrans were seen then as the best species of humans amongst Africans due to the rich human and natural endowments. They were incomparably ingenius, enterprising, determined and have so, remained till date.

Prior to pockets of gruesome killings brought against Biafran residents, doing businesses in the Northern region occasioned by envy and hatred, the Nigerian government under British supervision, unleashed genocidal war yet between 1967 and 1970, indiscriminately killing over three million Biafrans, including men, women, children and the elderly. This war of attrition was driven by Nigeria and her foreign allies. Biafrans were massacred not just only by usage of weaponry but by well orchestrated application of air, land and sea blockades and starvation. Some of the surviving Biafran female victims, were abducted and forced into early marriages to the invading Nigerian soldiers. Others were randomly and disgustingly raped.

The cause of the war stemmed from  the revolt of Biafrans against state-sponspred marginalization, maltreatment, oppression and enslavement. Everything that binds Nigeria as a country, in the fictitious unity right from then till the present time, has remained the gains accruing from the abundant natural resources from Biafraland. Billions of dollars are daily being made from the proceeds of oil and gas exploration/exploitation, yet dilapidated road network, lack of portable drinking water, electricity, hospitals and security, dot the land. Politically, they are denied the right to access premium federal offices. Everything is virtually being siphoned to better the lives of Fulanis at the detriment of Biafrans.

The year 2014, recorded the emergence of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who also is the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). He spearhead the correction of these dehumanizing anormalies. Biafraland has to be defended and the people, given safety and security. He undertook the spirited global broadcast via Radio Biafra, stationed in London. The global community was well informed about the relentless genocides committed amongst other dehumanizing policies of the Nigerian government, against Biafrans. Christian majority and other innocent unarmed civilians were being arrested, abducted,  females raped and dismembered at will by the agents of the Nigerian state. These agents operate under the sponsorship of the powers that be.

They are Fulani jihadists who disguise as Fulani cattle herders, Boko Haram terrorists, soldiers and recently, bandits and unknown gunmen. It was this unabated spate of killings perpetrated against Biafrans, that triggered off the formation of the Eastern Security Network (ESN,) by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, to defend our people and safeguard our land from being overran. The ESN is an IPOB's civil defence or protection security outfit. The operatives of this newly birthed security arm, camp in the bushes and forests for the sole task of safeguiding Biafra farmlands, farm produce, other valuable properties and lives, against the encroaching or marauding Fulani Islamic killers/land grabbers.

The Nigerian government, in its desperation to drive its evil agenda of Islamization and Fulanization, quickly proscribed the activities of IPOB, and tagging the organization, a terrorist group. The government's reputation and false narratives to the global community appeared gravely threatened as every of its action/evil policy, became exposed. Biafrans treasure truth, justice, equity and peace but since the Fulani run Nigerian government detests all these, Biafrans had no other choice than to begin peaceful agitations for independence. Nigeria unity has grossly been compromised and the only way for freedom and preservation of the lives of Biafrans, is to seek the total restoration of the Biafran nation.

Biafrans are exceptionally good, accommodating, talented, peaceful and loving. They are a people who value the sanctity of life and also easily adopt to non-indigenous enviroments through robust relationships. Discrimination against other races, tribes, colors and creed, are entirely strange to their existence. All that is being craved for through their struggles, tears and sufferings, is their unfettered freedom and independence. The secured and progressive future of their children and other upcoming generation of Biafrans are pivotal. These are totally uncompromisable.

FWPI Editorial: Religion As An Enslavement Tool And The Need To Break Free

FWPI Editorial: Religion As An Enslavement Tool And The Need To Break Free

Religion, according to the description of a German sociologist and economic theorist, Karl Marx, is the opium of the masses. Herein, lies the very key root of the slavery and poverty, bedeviling the entire African continent. This is the reason behind Nigeria's unworkability as a country.

Opium, as lifted from a website, www.adf.org.au, is defined as "depressant drug", which means that it slows down information (messages), being transported or conveyed between the brain and the body. Needless to say then, why a lot of Africans especially, in the Nigerian contraption, find it difficult to comprehend the very root cause of the seeming perpetual problems confronting them. The failure to proffer solutions to these numerous problems has become the greatest undoing.  The people entrapped in this entity, have been drugged through this depressant substance (opium) called RELIGION. And the resultant effect has majorly and most unfortunately, revolved around every issue and definition of this very subject.

An adage says, "if one does not know where he/she is coming from, such an individual will definitely not know the destination headed to". There are very critical questions black Africans must truly ask themselves and that is: who were they before the advent of the whitemen? What kind of religion was practiced before the colonialists (whitemen) introduced their own version? Since the reckless embrace of the whiteman's religion, were Africans better of or not? Were the whitemen having the same version of religion with the blacks? Any sincere mind that provides answers to these posers, will only arrive at the conclusion that the blacks were much better of in their own way, before the eventual arrival of the whites. They came and taught our people to trade on fellow brothers and sisters for mere objects like mirrors and cigarettes. Warrant chiefs who were their representatives, were cruely imposed on the people who were helplessly cultured against asking questions. They were conditioned not to criticize obnoxious policies as well as holding the "leaders" accountable for their actions.

The once gloriously rich Africa, especially the hyper-democratic Biafraland, was terribly decimated. Our value system and culture, were compromised. A religion that permitted the whiteman to recklessly exploit our rich natural resources in exchange for peanuts with our minds conditioned into the belief that they were gods, took firm grip. There was this grossly erroneous belief held so dear, that these colonialists (whitemen), were closer to God. They seemed unchallengeable and unquestionable. This encoloration of docility and intellectual laziness, have so terribly over the years, morphed into human beings who only sit and pray to God, to descend and practically execute everything for them, even including spoon feeding them. On the contrary however, these whitemen that sold this version of religion to our forefathers, disgustingly soiled their hands in trying to make things work out well in their own respective countries. They held their own leaders clearly accountable in all they did.

Recently, a Nigerian gospel preacher, was quoted to have stated that no one should talk against or criticize those who are messing up the lives of millions of the people encaged in Nigeria. This goes further to prove the fact that enslavement has really been perfected and handed down to the taskmasters (religious leaders), to continue to ensure that the the oppressed remain cowed. If not, how can one explain the fact that the same God in the Bible that was given to us, who sent the prophets to declare the truth and forewarn the leaders of the people concerning their injustices in the land, sent His begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who came and uncompromisingly preached against the excesses and the evils of the Pharisees, calling them "brood of vipers", will now suddenly see it sinful to tell the evil leaders of our time that what they are doing, is wrong even amidst the people's suffering?

If black lives must really matter, the blackman himself, must as a matter of expediency, break free from the religious and psychological slavery which were handed down to us as a people from our forefathers. We must completely jettison this grevious version of imposed religion made possible by the slavemasters. This then, will pave the way for easy and flawless control, with the conviction that there exists no feat we cannot achieve. We must get rid of the tainted mentality that we must soil our hands first if we must achieve freedom and development. Our leaders in whatever cadre, must have to be held accountable. It is also understandable that it is an insurmountable task, breaking free from these centuries of enslavement by remaining the way we are. Therefore, anyone who wishes to see the reality of this truth, must firstly and humbly, open his/her mind, to learn and focus on new ways of life.

Judgments must be delivered based on irrefutable facts and figures, not on superfluous and superstitious beliefs. It is only through this, that the blackman can truly free himself from all holds of slavery. Black lives will undoubtedly matter if the right things are put in place.

Understanding The Wisdom Behind The Cancelation Of The Scheduled Sit-At-Home Protest

Understanding The Wisdom Behind The Cancelation Of The Scheduled Sit-At-Home Protest

Quite a number of Biafrans were in shock and dismay, pertaining the cancelation of the almost one week Sit-at-home protest  which was scheduled to run from the eve of the Anambra State Gubernatorial Election, Friday 5th through Wednesday 10th November 2021, by the Directorate of State (DOS) of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). It was really unexpected that the planned protest would be so suddenly called off, contrary to the massive publicity and preparation of the people. Emotions ran high and many angrily voiced out their opposition against the DOS decision. It however, takes great courage, discipline and deep sense of reasoning, to fully come to terms with the wisdom behind such a decision and its timing. Biafrans should understand that IPOB are not fighting physically, but psychologically which forms the ingredients of success and victory. The Nigerian government with its security agencies may have the personnel, the guns and the armories but the people of Biafra, have the wisdom. So the Nigerian government is always being outsmarted in the game.

The Nigerian rulers know that IPOB have really saturated everywhere through the media, with hyper-intelligence and sophiscated mercenaries with which to totally dismantle their lies and propaganda. Hence their resort to the recruitment of philosophers, information technologists and social media influencers for a fight. But their antics were squarely confronted and defeated by Biafrans who are naturally endowed with wisdom and determination. It is with this virtue that the Directorate of State (DOS), proactively decided to call off the exercise to the disappointment of the enemies. Some people have however, called for detailed explanation by the DOS, why such a decision should be taken at the nip of time. Could it be that members of the IPOB leadership, represented by the DOS, have been compromised by the politicians? It was equally argued that the DOS wanted to join hands in killing Biafrans and have sold out the restoration struggle.

Members of the Directorate of State, it should be stated here, just like every other true Biafran, are seriously craving for the unfetted restoration of the nation of Biafra as well as the freedom of her people. They love their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the principles of the struggle so much so, that thinking about sabotaging the restoration effort, will ever be the last thing that could be contemplated. Moreover, some things are better not said. After graduating from the school of Radio Biafra, under the tutorship of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Biafrans already understood that the country, Nigeria,  and everything it represents, including its leadership selection process, is entirely not their portion. Definitely, they have already concluded before time, to sit at home, to avert being killed or preyed upon by the oppressive system being driven by the murderous, unprofessional armed forces. Our eyes need be opened as a people so that we can appreciate God for the enormity of the work that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the DOS have done as visionary leaders.

1) Recall that the All Progressives Congress party (APC), which houses the Fulani run Nigerian government, laid out master plans months ago, to take over Anambra State. It should not be forgotten too that the Anambra State Independence National Electoral Commissioner (INEC), was assassinated a couple of days before the planned gubernatorial election. Now, the INEC Chairman, the Inspector-General of Police and others that will help facilitate the election, were well on ground. APC did not really bother campaigning because they had hinged their hope on lies and propaganda. By canceling the Sit-at-home protest, IPOB has terribly shattered the evil plots of the janjaweed both in Anambra State and in Biafraland. They cannot adjust easily to the contrary, eleven hours to the exercise.

2) They had planned to destructively rig the election by all means as non-residents and non-registered voters were massively brought into the state. Prisoners, Fulanis, amongst others, were rented and brought in, to perfect their dirty jobs. They also plotted genocide, destruction of properties and all forms of mayhem were lined up for execution through the instrumentality of detachments of security operatives and commissioned unknown gunmen. These well perpetrated, would then be hipped on the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Eastern Security Network (ESN). IPOB would then definitely find it difficult to exonerate itself from whatever allegations that would ensue. It should also not be forgotten that the Nigerian media houses would have been pressured too, to widely publish their lies, deception and blackmail. Through this cancelation, every scheme of evil, was punctured and therefore, any crime or criminality recorded therefrom would be blamed on the government and its agents because there was no act of civil disobedience for the media to feast on.

Through this cancelation, IPOB have been able to rebuke and debunk the lies and the propaganda of the APC led federal government planned for packaging, to hoodwink the international community. They would have floated the narrative that IPOB does not care about the people but rather, agitate for individual interests at the expense of the ignorant. They would have so garnished everything with their lies that the killings, destructions and the prevailing economic hardship   that they are blatantly leashing on the people of Biafra, were the orchestration of the IPOB. God be praised that wisdom was brought to bear upon the situation by the DOS. It was clearly stated that one of the reasons behind the cancelation, was the consideration given to the plight of the people, should the sit-at-home protest be allowed. Biafrans will always be cherished and protected and so, IPOB can do all within its powers to achieve these and therefore, cannot adopt policies that will trigger off the killing of their own people nor the destruction of their properties. Not now, not tomorrow, not ever.

4) IPOB have also shown to the world that Biafrans can willingly observe sit-at-home, without force or coercion as the Nigerian government unsuccessfully tried to project. Even with the cancelation, most of the Biafran people still preferred to stay indoors. This further proves that IPOB is just a body that is strongly driving the aspirations of the people. This organization is the people undoubtedly revealed or represented.

5) Let it not also be forgotten that the Nigerian government is yet trying so desperately, to convince the global community that IPOB is a terrorist organization and are the masterminds of the gruesome killings and wanton destructions that have ravaged the South-East region. All these are lies. They really wanted to use the Anambra State guber election to advance their satanic agenda and the media were waiting on the wings to publish their falsehood. And if the sit-at-home had materialized, that would have been a perfect opportunity  to play their hands. Every attention was focused on Anambra State both nationally and internationally and we understood too that even the Government of the United States of America, had threatened visa ban on all those officials/politicians that would cause violence during the election. If they had succeeded in getting any of the civilized nations internationally, into believing that IPOB is a terrorist organization, that would have spelt doom for Biafrans as they would not hesitate to lend credence for possible military invasion of Biafraland. Any trouble therefore that is being caused in the light of the above, the Nigerian government will be held accountable.

6) By DOS stating that it considered the plea of Biafraland traditional rulers, religious leaders and elders in a communique, proves that IPOB wanted to explore all peaceful and diplomatic channels to achieve their goals which revolve around the unconditional release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from detention and the securing of a date for a referendum. As the communique pleaded on both the IPOB and the Nigerian government to de-escalate tensions and get committed to peaceful resolution, it is then clear that the IPOB have played their own role creditably. The cancelation of the sit-at-home civil protest as the communique requested, has been duly respected but if the Nigerian government fails on its own part, the world would then know that it is the Fulani oligarchy and their cronies that truncated everything. IPOB is a peaceful organization and should therefore, not be blamed when there is a breakdown of public peace. In fact, the press statement issued about the cancelation, encompasses all points of deep concern. It is only the ignorant and the enemies of Biafra freedom that would fall short of the commendation of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the DOS, for coming up with such a wise decision that has invariably dismantled the evil plots of the Biafran enemies.

Whose Interest Is Anambra Election, The Downtrodden Or The Politicians?

Whose Interest Is Anambra Election, The Downtrodden Or The Politicians?

The Anambra State election scheduled for Saturday 6th November 2021, is just a few days away. However, there are a lot of mixed feelings regarding the exercise. Because the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has announced that if Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not unconditionally released on or before Thursday 4th, they will be forced to sit at home, many Igbo politicians are asking and pleading with the IPOB leadership to call off the Sit-At-Home protest after seeing and hearing how effective and serious people take and respect the order. IPOB on the other hand, has stated that they will continue to sit-at-home unless politicians force the Nigerian government to unconditionally free Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from detention.

However, if critically examined, we will see that the Sit-At-Home is not only about the unconditional release of the IPOB leader and other Biafrans detained in Nigerian prisons across the country, but also about what benefits us as a people, what have we so far derived from all the elections previously conducted since the war ended in 1970? How has Igboland progressed socially, economically and educationally in all, despite our painful participation? . And worst of it all, how has the so-called "representatives of ours", interacted with the people supposedly being represented? Is the election for the advantage of the poor Igbo street traders, village dwellers and the unemployed or for the profit of the politicians themselves who like to reside in Abuja after the elections? How have previous elections benefited the generality of Anambra citizens? Are politicians going to change their ways of using the people before elections and then dumping them to die out of devastation, on the streets afterwards? Can one confidently point to some concrete educational, social, or economic gains of these conducted elections in which we fully participated? What have these politicians always said when our people have problems? Can it be truly stated that they actually represent the interest of their own people whom they claim to represent or do they always take sides with hate and oppresive policies that are churned out to impoverish and wipe the people off?

The Nkpor bloody massacre of 2015 and the Ezu river massacre, are still fresh in our minds. The Ozubulu bloody massacre is still fresh in our minds and all of these massacres occurred in Anambra State. Up to this day, no report of inquiry has been issued. None of the so-called politicians of Igbo extraction, has courageously done anything to inquire about what realistically happened to our able-bodied men and women who were gruesomely killed by the Nigerian armed forces at Nkpor in 2015, even after Amnesty International had reported that over 150 people were killed during the horrendous massacre. What else do we have to remember about after sleeping and waking up only to discover the corpses of able-bodied Igbo youngsters floating on Ezu river during Dr. Peter Obi's term as the Governor of Anambra State? We still remember the Ozubulu massacre, where people who went to church to thank their God were massacred and the same individuals who lay claim to be our representatives, still have done absolutely nothing about it up to this day.

With all of these therefore, can we say that we will have representatives who will actually get concerned about our welfare, or those that are only concerned about their own pockets and the welfare of their own families and associates? If such is the case, we should consider ourselves pitiable, continuing to do one thing over time while observing in hopelessness. The question that every Igbo Biafran and Anambra citizen should be asking is: How have I profited from the past elections? Why risk our lives for individuals who do not even care about our existence? We have to use our tongues to count our teeth and then weigh in on the benefits of these elections before voting in the upcoming one, so that we do not become slaves to politicians who dream of nothing else apart from fame and personal aggradizement. A word is enough for the wise!

The Tragedy Of The Unknown Gunmen And The Culpability Of The Nigerian Government

The Tragedy Of The Unknown Gunmen And The Culpability Of The Nigerian Government

The Nigerian government must choose between the fulanization of the Nigerian security apparatus and playing of the blame game on insecurity. Both ways cannot be in the same kitty. One cannot beat a child and tell him/her, not to cry. The Fulani controlled Nigerian government cannot in anyway, going by evolving developments, absolve itself of culpability, since a Fulani heads every security agency in Nigeria. It has been long acknowledged that only two groups are involved in running a government. Those at the table and those on the table. Biafrans, especially the Igbos, regrettably, are the last group. They have no say or role anymore in corporate Nigeria. There, lies their predicament.

The Fulani people are not spectacularly an interesting people in a positive sense but have a history of land grabbing and bloody conquests. Just as it was with the world in failing to hold Mohammed accountable in his criminal method of violent and forceful religious conversions, the Fulanis were not motivated by Britain to choose a different path;  a more honorable path, when their paths crossed. In the 18th century era and not long after the Hausa kingdom had been ravaged in the most gruesome way by the Fulani jihadists, Britain patted them on the back and offered them more seats at the table which was the beginning of mutual partnership in the reign of terror.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, do not have a motive for “the shock doctrine” going on, in Biafra land especially in Anambra State. It cannot benefit from the destruction of the people it has taken flaks for defending and even paid the ultimate price. IPOB does not have a history of abuse and violence. Conversely, it has been at the receiving end of these. Historically, the Fulanis and their goons have a dark history of brigandage, violence and bribery. They are the torchbearers of terrorism in the British enclave, priding itself unapologetically, with about five terrorist organizations including the second and fourth deadliest terror organizations according to the United Nations Terrorism Index (UNTI).

The Nigerian army and the Department of State Security (DSS), can deflect all they want, but smart people already know that only three (3) groups have the motive to participate in the ongoing unknown gunmen saga. Regardless of the group, government is directly responsible for any  emanating mayhem as a result. These are: (1) The Fulani government, notorious for unknown soldiers. They took the aftermath of the #EndSars police station attacks to another notch.

(2) The unconscionable and desperate politicians wanting to cash-out from the imbroglio. These too, have elements within the government funding it.

(3) There is also the victims of government overreach and brute use of force. Relatives of victims or survivors hardened after their ordeal. It is now these people against the government and believe it or not, they have nothing to lose. In all these, the Nigerian government is solely to be blamed for the unknown gunmen mayhem. The only path to peace (if government is really interested), is to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and all prisoners of conscience and announce a date for a referendum. However, the interest of the government in seeking for peace is seriously in doubt.

The Compromised Nigerian Media And How It Rolls

The Compromised Nigerian Media And How It Rolls

The media on a broader scale, serves as a communication channel or tool of storage and delivery of information. It is a means through which authentic and needed information is passed to the general public. Most unfortunately however, the media  in Nigeria is grossly compromised. It is known especially under the Buhari led government, to boldly be churning out fake and misleading information to the people. It is being used to propagate lies and devilish propaganda theories aimed at deceiving and confusing the citizenry in favor of the powers that be, thereby mortgaging the wellbeing of the common man. This reputably professional entity is not independent in this part of the world as its antecedents stand opposed to the ethical flow of excellent communication of relevant information as obtained elsewhere. Those in power ensure that truth is comprpmised to their advantage.

Few days past, the Nigerian armed personnel brazenly attacked a Catholic bishop in Orlu, Imo State, and the shamelessly comprpmised media, was instructed to blame the act on the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Eastern Security Network (ESN). This was driven to smear the image of these bodies and instigate hatred, confusion and disunity amongst the people. The Eastern Security Network (ESN), which is a IPOB civil protection security outfit for Biafrans' lives and properties, was birthed into existence for the purpose of self-defence. Biafra farmlands, farm produce and lives were under serious threat of extinction by the marauding Fulani jihadists who disguise as cattle herders. They ravage communities as well, leaving behind their trail, destructions and gruesome killings of the indigenous land owners. Mothers, wives, sisters and daughters were blatantly raped, killed and dismembered. It was these heinous crimes that orchestrated the formation of the ESN as self-defence security outfit for the people. The personnel never vied off their primary assignment, to attack or disturb the peace of the citizens. But the Nigerian government, desperately in a hurry to carry out its herculean (impossible) task of fulanization cum islamization, precipitated varying degrees of havoc and tagging the ESN personnel, as the terrorists behind such criminal activities. This government act was being floated to shield the main import of the ESN operation which is fighting to defend the people against the actions of the Fulani killer squad (terrorists), from the knowledge of the global community.

On Monday 1st November 2021, at about 5:00am, a detachment of the Nigerian army was deployed to carry out an attack against the indigenes of Mgbowo community in Awgu local government area of Enugu State, killing the innocent, which included the youths, the elderly, men and women. Houses and properties worth fortunes, were wantonly destroyed. This murderous invasion was shrouded in secrecy as no media house, whether print or electronic, deemed it worth publishing. That is how they roll. These media outlets considered such developing news quite immaterial for public knowledge, thereby massaging the interest of their paymasters. Nigeria, especially under Buhari, is a protagonist of evil, terrorism and death. That is why insecurity pervades every nook and cranny of the country. The media is adequately settled against ethical journalism, justice, truth and the wishes of the people. Anything that can easily blackmail IPOB and ESN, spreads through the Nigerian media like harmattan fire. They will promptly give such, unsolicited attention.

Biafrans are being killed with brazen act of impunity like animals and nobody takes it as anything. But when it comes to the issue of self-defence actions against the murderous orchestrations of the Fulanis, the newspaper headlines and electronic trending news items, will be floated for escalated information. Self-determination is not a crime before any international legal framework which Nigeria is equally a signatory. Even in the Nigerian constitution, such is fully given a legitimate consideration. It is therefore enough as this systemic onslaught can no longer be entertained. Such an extermination agenda like what happened between 1967 and 1970 against Biafrans, will never ever be allowed again. Fathers, mothers, men, women, pregnant mothers, youths, elderly and even children were gruesomely murdered in millions. The world saw all these and turned a blind eye. Biafrans were made to bear the brunt of a needless war because the Nigerian media either concealed reality or propagated falsehood about all that transpired. Therefore, the global community that has conscience, should expedite action that will help stem the ongoing bloody policy targeted against Biafrans by the Nigerian government in concert with its compromised media.
