Federal Government Admits Kidnapping Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya

Federal Government Admits Kidnapping Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB) was abducted in Kenya by Nigeria secret security, and extraordinarily renditioned to Nigeria on the 29th of June, 2021, after being severely tortured for nearly two weeks. During these two weeks’ period, the leadership of IPOB did not know Kanu's whereabouts, likewise his family members.

According to reports, Nnamdi Kanu was brought back to Nigeria in an unconscious state by a private jet, after he got a severe torture from the Nigerian secret security. The then Kenyan president, Uhuru Kenyetta, and the Kenyan High Commissioner to Nigeria denied being an accomplice to the crime of kidnap, torture and extraordinary rendition of Nnamdi Kanu to Nigeria, claiming ignorant of the whole situation. The Nigerian Government on the other hand, boastfully announced the re-arrest of Nnamdi Kanu back to Nigeria, claiming that he jumped bail.

But, the Federal Government failed to recount that (Nigerian government) sent armed forces to the home resident of Nnamdi Kanu at Afaraukwu, Ibeku in Abia state, which resulted the killing of 28 innocent people that were in his compound, that day. During his abduction in Kenya, Nigeria Government to respect the fact that Nnamdi Kanu is a British citizen, as well as a Biafran, and that extradition process must be followed. The Nigerian government disobeyed this international law in the case of Nnamdi Kanu, because of their hate and disdain to obey laws, thereby committing an international crime.

The Fulani Oligarchs in Nigeria Aso-Rock, in their mediocrity, entangled themselves in the web of international crime, by this single act. The government will face the consequences. They have tried to play fast and smart for over a year now. But, after much denial, and levelling of 15 frivolous charges against Kanu in a bid to debilitate him and quench the zeal for Biafra nation agitation, they have agreed that they engaged in kidnaping by the way of unlawful abduction.

In the appeal court hearing of September 13, 2022, the government finally admitted to have Kidnapped Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya, and illegally renditioned him to Nigeria.

Fulani leaders in the Government felt that their gimmicks and unlawfully nature will be an aid to them, but, they surely cannot eat their cake and have it. They must accept all their contemptuousness to law and court orders, onimous acts against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and recompense for them.
