Mazi Chika Edoziem: Food Security To Biafrans Is Not Just A National Security, It Is Also Existential
Food security for Biafrans is paramount. Just as Mazi Edoziem said, it is an issue of life and death.
Food security exists when all people have physical, social and economic access to enough, safe, and nutritious food to meet their dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life at all times. And most importantly, secured from external enemies working day and night to exterminate the people.
It is high time we sat down and have a rethink about our lives. It just seems we are eating from the same plate with our enemies. Have we all forgotten what happened between 1967 to 1970? Have we forgotten the over three(3) million Biafrans that were starved to death by the people we thought were our brothers, but who turned to stabbed us at the back.
The Directorate Of States(DOS) of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), lead by Mazi Edoziem have just said it and we need to collectively support and work for it.
Biafrans have enough land, very fertile for any type of crop. We have the man power. We have the knowledge and skills. Indeed we are lacking nothing. The only thing we require is to put all that abilities we have into good use.
Food security should be the concern of every Biafran. It should be our watchdog.
Let us stop patronizing those who are against our existence as people. Let us be more careful and learn from what happened in 1967 to 1970.
Our collective effort is needed as a people to make this work. If we work collectively as a people, Ebonyi province will be supplying enough rice to the whole Biafraland. If we work well Igede people have enough land and can feed the whole Biafraland with yam, cassava, potatoes and other food. Without food security in Biafraland, our existence as a people is at stake. Let us collectively shame our enemies. Let us use this year 2022 and show the whole world how prepared we are to change Africa.
