They were murdered
In their numbers
No one was bothered
All across the borders!
What have I done?
Who have I wronged?
Must I be gone?
For ONE to be maintained?
You shall try
Though I cried
But I have thrived
And have dried
All my tears.
They tried
To wipe me out
They Conspired
North to South,
East to West,
They starved me.
Yet indestructible I am
Tall I stand
My Shoulders I raise high
Eternal I remain.
My dried bones yet live
From East to West
North to South
I shall be gathered
And my SUN shall RISE.
