Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, an erstwhile governor of Lagos State and a frontline national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), on Monday 29th March 2021, celebrated his birthday in far away Kano State amidst pump and peasantry, with a fictitious age of sixty nine (69) years. However, detailed research from Wikipedia reveals that Bola Ahmed Tinubu was actually born on the 29th of March 1942 which was maliciously changed to 29th of March 1952, subtracting ten (10) years from his original age. There has been an outrageous concern and condemnation on social media eversince, as he celebrated yet another edition, shamelessly creating the impression that he is sixty nine (69) years instead of seventy Nine (79).

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, happened to have been the first person to raise alarm concerning this despicable age reduction by a supposed upright national figure. Following the Wikipedia confirmatory revelation, it becomes abundantly clear how those justling to rule Nigeria, desperately get involved in manipulation of records. Tinubu callously lied by ridiculously reducing his age to sixty nine (69) years on the false impression designed at deceiving the gullible. He was born on the 29th of March 1942 going by his original birth record and not in 1952. He became seventy nine (79) years of age on Monday 29th March, 2021. This has been the disgusting trend of desperation within the Nigerian political class. They delve into subtle deception spree to manipulate their real ages in their morbid drive of appearing acceptably much younger according to their concocted official records.

Many Nigerians have since taken to their twitter handles amongst other social media platforms, to strongly voice out their displeasures in what has become dastardly institutionalized in the country by the Nigerian politicians in the same mold of Tinubu, the Jagaban. They blatantly change their ages and even their qualifications with the barbaric mental act of transforming from their old ages to that of young men, struggling for political offices with their own children and grand children. The outrage that has so far greeted this unfortunate discovery is quite overwhelming and yet remains rife. Bola Ahmed Tinubu's handlers on social media should cover their faces in shame. They hurriedly dashed into Wikipedia, in their desperate efforts to tinker with the already complicated issue, thereby worsening the whole thing at the full glare of the global community.

With this bizarre game being played, it then appears that the Area father himself, Charlyboy, Nigeria's popular musician and social crusader, is now older than Tinubu which from every common sense, is impossible. Ahmed Tinubu by the false birth record is now sixty nine (69) years old while Charlyboy is seventy one (71) years older with two (2) years. What a deceit!

It is now the lamentation on social media that if Bola Ahmed Tinubu can so brazenly lie about his real birth date, then more dark days lie ahead if this type of a politician ascends an outstanding political office in Nigeria. Since lying has become the bedrock of his political focus, it is only people that are bereft of good conscience and trustworthiness that can give him the sympathy of occupying any political office in the land.
