The Yoruba Journey To Redemption Has Started---Professor Banji Akintoye

The Yoruba Journey To Redemption Has Started---Professor Banji Akintoye

"Soonest, we are going to reach our Canaan land without any bloodshed". This statement was credited to Professor Banji Akintoye, the Alana of Ilana-Omo Oduduwa and an astutute member of the Nigeria Senate in the Second Republic. He has unambiguously urged the Yorubas (Oduduwas) on, on their journey to redemption which according to him, has begun. In a statement released on Tuesday 22nd December 2020, by the Media and Communications Secretary of the group, Professor Akintoye stated that the Yoruba people globally, should be readily prepared to usher in their freedom in no distant future.

Professor Banji Akintoye who brazenly knocked down on the Nigeria Constitution and her leaders, stressing that the 1999 Constitution and the amalgamation of 1914 of Southern and Northern protectorates by the British, were the avenues through which the assets and sovereignty of the people of both the Middle Belt and Southern parts of the country were hijacked. "The Yoruba journey to redemption has started and soonest, we are going to reach our Canaan land without any bloodshed", he pointedly declared.

Fromb the above statement, this honorable personality with utmost respect and regards for his own people quite unlike what obtains amongst the "Fulanised errand boys and grossly treacherous political class" in the South-East particularly, you will clearly see the heart of statesmanship and refinement. What we see in this elderstateman and leader is a personality that bears the pain of disgustingly overwhelming abnormalies of a goat delivering on titters. The full import of Professor Akintoye's statement is a definitive portrayal of a country that has abysmally failed beyond redemption. Therefore anyone promising you bread and butter at this point in time, is either hallucinating or suffering from acute psychopathic imbalance.

This has come to confirm the earlier statements of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, about the Nigerian State. We must expeditiously join hands to fast track the clearly outlined project of our chequered freedom before the dawn of our our regrets. But if we eventually chose to remain passive and docile, then we have to be equally  prepared to provide answers to the damning questions following our failures to conscientiously secure the future of our upcoming generations. It is through the instrumentality of unity, well mapped out strategy and proper coordination that Nigeria can be completely dismantled. We must fight for our freedom and that, most effectively.
