"Biafra Shall Emerge Soon" --Nnamdi Kanu
The prevailing wave of terrorism and brutality from the Nigerian security operatives and the Nigerian government, are apparently no doubt, reasons for the consistent wave of the agitation for the emergence of the Biafran nation. These have invariably heightened the insecurity of lives and properties of Biafrans mostly in Nigeria. All the inhabitants forcefully encaged in Nigeria have become very apprehensively restive that total disintegration now has become the only panacea. To this effect, all concerned citizens are now striving to boldly make definitive statements in their burning intent for the powers that be, to holistically begin to have a rethink. Some of this pack have however, been cowed due to the despotic/brutal consequences through death, humiliating threats or outright disquietness targeted at them. All these have greatly led to the continued abysmal deterioration of the Nigeria's value as a country.
There also exists pointed historical foundation of these anomalies that stoutly hinder valued progressive measures of interest. The Nigerian foundation is such that is premised on lies, deceit and hypocrisy as the opinions/consents of the different ethnic nationalities were not sought before the so-called amalgamation policy. And to further worsen the already tensed situation that was not done with the collective interest of all at heart. A situation where only a particular group has monopoly of power and continues to treat others as second class citizens, only calls for anarchy. This is where the British colonialists got it all wrong in their calculated scheme to permanently enslave the people for wicked, personal, economic interest.
As a result of these inglorious exploits being unleashed on the seemingly helpless indigenous land owners which has lasted over decades of years, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who have apparently been at the receiving end of this aberration, remain till date, exceptionally resilient in their pursuit for the restoration of their original, republican and progressive way of life before the hellish amalgamation doctrine came on stream. Their mode of operation even in the restoration struggle has remained uncompromisingly under one central command and control structure led by the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. It is this chain of administration that engendered healthy protests and virile diplomatic overtures. The IPOB leader had meticulously birthed into the hearts of Biafrans, these salient relational qualities that have seen the movement all through the years despite the challenges. Loyalty, doggedness, unity of purpose, discipline and hopefulness are indispensable ingredients in this all important mandate, the arrests, abductions, incarcerations, tortures, maiming and killings, nonetheless.
On Tuesday 8th of December 2020, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu made it publicly known through his twitter handle, that Biafra will emerge soon. This has precipitated a whole lot of expectations and optimism amongst followers and admirers alike, that there can never be a better time for it than now. This is because it has long been an awaited hope for the old Eastern region to realize their self worth as a people in Nigeria. This people being referred to as Biafrans have been mapped out for extermination by the Fulani engineered Islamic government in criminal connivance with their British overlords. This is somewhat interesting however, based on the recent unfolding global developments against religious persecution and systematic wave of human rights violations.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is a man that has proven his worth on occasions of need as a dependable leader. For him to definitively attach an emphatic word..."SOON" to his re-assuring statement of promise at this point in time, speaks volumes. It carries a signature tune of unimaginable surprises and all people need to do, is just to be on the lookout with unwavering optimism. There is absolutely no room for retreat as he has unambiguously admonished all who care to listen, to stand strong until the final blast.
