FWPI Editorial: The Biafra Vinegar Experience And The Sweet Wine

FWPI Editorial: The Biafra Vinegar Experience And The Sweet Wine

The tortuous journey to Biafra freedom and the very imminent glorious victory as being awaited, are comparatively the same with the taste of Vinegar to an excruciatingly thirsty soul and the Sweet Wine of celebration of joy that accompany triumph. Vinegar is totally an unpleasant, harmful and nauseating drink with a taste and aroma of soured, fermented mixture while Sweet Wine is a product of sugary beverage gotten from fermented juice of grapes. While one gives discomfort and death, the other refreshes and gives a relief of satisfaction/comfort.

The Biafra race was criminally annexed into the Nigerian contraption in 1914 after decades of established exclusive existence. It was forced into an entity alongside Arewa and Oduduwa by the British colonialists ostensibly, for their untainted/egocentric economic concerns. Premised therefore on pure hatred and ethnic bigotry, Biafrans got subjected to levels of gruesome massacre that culminated in 1945 in Kano, Northern Nigeria. This particular horrendous attack thus became the genesis of series of relentless vinegarish experience being suffered in Nigeria by the Biafran people which has remained till date. In 1966, the Fulani caliphate in concert with the Yorubas, orchestrated high scale mayhem against Biafrans both within the barracks serving Nigeria in the military and civlians without. This very stupendous act against a people, paved the way for a brutal war ever to be witnessed elsewhere in human history. The war lasted for three good years from 1967 to 1970 after late General Chukwuemeka Odimegu Ojukwu led Biafran peace pact with General Yakubu Gowon's Nigerian Government crashed. Over five million Biafrans including children, women, men and the elderly, were gruesomely massacred with the backing of the British, Russian, Egyptian, Saudi Arabian governments and the then Organization of African Unity (OAU), etcetera.

Eversince the grossly, deceitfully mouthed war of "No Victor, No Vanquished" subsided in 1970 as the international community was made to believe, there has been numerous sponsored hostilities being visited on Biafrans albeit subtly, through political, economic, social, military and religious fronts. The vinegar experience has remained unabated with so many Biafrans stranguled to untimely death through reactionary effects in the hands of successive Nigerian governments, till date. Hundreds of thousands have been wilfully killed, maimed, arrested and illegally incarcerated by the Nigerian armed security operatives just to perpetually keep Biafrans down from legitimately placing demands for the restoration of their homeland criminally snatched from them, by an irredeemably confused, corrupt, retrogressive, terroristic, oppressive and vampiric Nigeria which is under the manipulative dictates of the Fulani caliphate and their janjaweed political cabal. Their Islamic foot soldiers ably represented by the Fulani killer herdsmen (Miyetti Allah) and other Northern terrorist groups, are blatantly wrecking havoc, pillaging Biafra communities, kidnapping/raping women and killing people with reckless abandon.

Biafrans have been reeling in the destructive effect of this vinegarish mixture until the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), globally led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, emerged in the scene to take head on, the Nigerian establishment, in the most potent, intelligent, enlightened and resilient way via a liberation struggle ever to be recorded in human history. This liberation move is aimed at totally, completely and irrevocably wrestling from the despots, the sovereignty of the Biafran nation. Yes, Biafra must experience unfettered restoration of her freedom.

The horrific experiment of one Nigerianism with it's attendant results as herein outlined nonetheless, clearly depict the handwriting on the wall that the dogged and courageous fight of IPOB for the restoration of Biafra and the freedom of her people, are quite imminent. The long awaited season will most assuredly, usher in the monumental merriments, globally heralding shouts of joy of victory and recovery cutting across generations. That glorious moment of gulping the Sweet Wine across board, has spiritually dawned. The physical manifestation will soon hit humanity with compensation packages for Biafrans both living and dead, for the years of their vinegarish nightmares and devastating effects.

Biafra is come!
