Never Give Up Biafrans

Never Give Up Biafrans

By Elochukwu Nicholas Ohagi
For Family Writers Press.

What is a 'struggle' to you? Have you really and truly acquired the right spirit for the struggle? Do you continuously ask how and when will the freedom come? Are you among those that said Biafra won't exceed this year, only to see the year passing by?

The quest for the restoration of Biafra is like the struggle for a successful life. Lots of people planned to make it this year, yet didn't. Are they going to quit? No! The struggle continues!

For you to be successful, you have to first acquire the right spirit. Spirit of success!

The Biafrans that fought the Biafra war in 1966/70 had the right spirit. Togetherness and oneness was their watchword. A dying soldier tells others to take his gun and continue the fight in defence of the fatherland. They never wasted a gun, uniform or boot. A dying soldier hands over all. Every Biafran soldier fights and die knowing that others will keep on till victory is assured. That's the right spirit.

The ultimate spirit is taking the resolve that whatever happens, we must keep the struggle alive and keep fighting.

Today, lots of people joined from different angles. We all were never into the struggle from the start. Some once believed in a greater Nigeria, that will be restructured and 1999 constitution changed to something better. But today, they have realized that you can't form a progressive nation with people that never believe in justice and fairness. You can't form a peaceful nation with those who think they are born to rule. People who force their religion on you and want you to be subjected to Sharia law and learn Arabic language in the university, yet pretend that it is not Islamization. There can't be progress, but retrogression for a people who fight to take over people's ancestral lands through terrorism and RUGA. People who want you to remain their slaves and second class citizens. Most of us understand this, rejected Nigeria and now believe that 'In Biafra Lies The Hope Changing The Narrative Of Yesterday-'. We expect others to put their pride to rest and embrace this same truth.

Never you be discouraged. Never you give up. If anyone should give up, it should be your detractors and oppressors.

Never worry about the leaders of today who worship the caliphate. For they will be the losers of tomorrow. Only if you are gifted to see tomorrow. You must have seen their pathetic end. The impossibility will become possible. The caliphate will become powerless. Their entire agents will be defeated and dethroned. Those of them that made a timely U-turn and embraced the people will be pardoned, and others disgraced.

My believe is that Biafra is coming. When it will be isn't my utmost worry. But come she MUST!

This is my Christmas message to all my comrades.

Merry Christmas Brethrens. The year was rough, tough and difficult. But here we are alive and strong. Strong enough to meet the new year.

On this note I also wish you all a Happy and Prosperous New Year in Advance.

We are Overcomers and we will overcome.
