IPOB OBIO/AKPOR AREA 2 EXCO MEETING, IGWEOCHA PROVINCE, BIAFRALAND
The Obio/Akpor Local Government Area 2 ebullient Coordinator, Mazi Wisdom Elechukwu Okafor duly welcomed the Executives to the meeting following an opening prayer said by Mrs. Ifunanya Edemejaro at 5:27pm. The meeting was held on Thursday 22nd day of August 2019.
Mazi Wisdom Elochukwu Okafor appreciated all the executives and principal officers of the area for successfully hosting of the last monthly general meeting held on Sunday 18th August 2019. The media team was specifically commended for it's encouraging efforts and enviable position even within the entire Igweocha province, in consistently disseminating needed information regarding the developments within the jurisdiction, via relevant social media platforms. He enjoined the personnel never to mutate.
In view of the prevalent dangerous security situations across Biafraland, the coordinator called for extreme security consciousness. He maintained that loved ones especially Biafra youths should be advised to be mindful of their appearances, movements and associations. Collaborating this position was the Elders Forum Chairman, elder Njoku Ikechukwu Chukwunonyerem who equally harped on the need for all to jealously guide against acts inimical to their safety at all times.
Mazi Wisdom Elochukwu Okafor, considering exhaustively other concerns as touchlighted by members, advised all to diligently strive in handling issues relating to the area, with wisdom and decorum. This followed protracted deliberations regarding bickerings amongst IPOB Women Wing as presented. The need for tolerance, synergy, love, peace, understanding, forgiveness and transparency amongst the Area 2 Women Executives, was highly emphasized. He asked them to desist forthwith, from class distinction, tale-bearing, gossiping, backbiting and unforgiveness. Lending his voice too, was elder Njoku Ikechukwu Chukwunonyerem who cautioned against re-occurrence. He reminded the women that nothing positive gets achieved in an atmosphere riddled with rancor, bitterness, unhealthy rivalry and division. The need to collectively move the Biafra restoration struggle forward, was equally reiterated, noting that any house that is divided against itself cannot stand.
Mazi Onyedikachi Bright Uba, commending the Secretariate for jobs well done so far, adviced the officers (secretary and his assistant) to really put their acts together through proper coordination of their activities. He decried the lackluster manner in which the minutes of July monthly general meeting was handled. This was overwhelmingly supported.
Concluding, the Obio/Akor Area 2 Coordinator, Mazi Wisdom Elochukwu Okafor, thanked the executives for making the day's deliberations successful and encouraged all to remain resilient, proactive and dedicated to the Biafra restoration cause. He thanked God Almighty for the strength, love and unity that have thus far, seen the leadership of the area through despite some hiccups. He equally prayed for divine blessing, protection and guidance.
The meeting rose at 7:56pm.
