MONTHLY GENERAL MEETING OF IPOB WOMEN WING OF OBIO/AKPOR AREA 2, IGWEOCHA PROVINCE OF BIAFRALAND
The Women Wing of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Obio/Akpor Area 2, in Igweocha Province of Biafraland, held their Monthly General Meeting on Sunday 14th July 2019. The meeting which witnessed an appreciable turn out of women representatives from various family zones within the Obio/Akpor Area 2 jurisdiction, converged at Rumuokwurusi, to exhaustively deliberate and take far reaching decisions aimed at repositioning the women for the battles ahead towards the Biafra restoration struggle.
Chief amongst their concerns was a circulated pamphlet of plotted jihadi conquest handed out to members by the Islamic Nationalist Movement of Nigeria written on the 6th of November 2018 in Arabic. This was widely distributed across Northern Nigeria to selected mosques with an order to jihadists to strenuously work to reclaim all political powers/positions in the country. "The instruction proceeded to remind the jihadists of their religious prohibition from sharing powers with "infidels". They vowed to keep faith with the principles of their forefather, Othman Dan Fodio by springing surprises in their drive of conquering the Western/Central parts of Nigeria and taking over all relevant parastatals/other public places of interest like schools, industries, markets, etcetera.
The circulated pamphlet also carried the order that they should instil fear into the infidels (unbelievers) through terrorism, seizure of farmlands, properties and businesses, failure of which the invading jihadists will suffer the consequences. The order went further to state that Nigeria was bequeathed to them by Allah and so everything must be done to reclaim all that their great grandfather, Othman Dan Fodio, rightly handed over to them. All males and females of Fulani origin must get involved in this drive against the infidels. They were further commanded to employ everything at their disposal which must be reconditioned (sharpened) as weapons of conquest including motorcycles, tricycles, trailers, tankers, knives, guns, sticks, offices/homes they guard, fruits, foodstuff and livestock. All the weaknesses, disunity, laziness and indiscipline of these infidels must be exploited to the advantage of Islam. Kill and conquer them in their homes and communities across the Middle Belt region. Trust none of them in the South and in the East".
The women leadership in the light of the above, strongly reminded their members of the repeated warnings of the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, regarding the practically manifested jihadi onslaught of the Fulani Islamists as presently being witnessed. The women were enjoined to stand tall always in defense of their people and fatherland by maintaining incorruptible resilience, dedication and obedience to the outlined principles of IPOB and the Biafra restoration mandate. The meeting thereby adjourned with a closing prayer and exchange of pleasantries.
