IPOB RUMUOMASI ZONE IN IGWEOCHA PROVINCE RECONSTITUTES A NEW EXECUTIVE
In keeping with the principle of effective representation and resiliently keeping afloat, the Biafra restoration struggle as clearly mapped out by the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) globally, the Family zone in Rumuomasi, Igweocha Province, mandatorily, picked another set of executive members to run it's affairs. This took place on Sunday 30th June 2019 before Obio/Akpor Area 2 officials led by the Coordinator, Mazi Wisdom Elochukwu Okafor. Amongst the Area 2 executives that graced the occasion was the Elders Council Chairman, Mazi Njoku Ikechukwu Chukwunonyerem.
The exercise had family members of all the four units that the zone is comprised of. Recall that on Wednesday 22nd May 2019, the IPOB Rumuomasi Family Zone's Leadership was dissolved for obvious unhealthy reasons which led to the appointment of Mazi Friday Onwuchekwa Worlu as the interim Coordinator, pending the re-organization and inauguration of a substantial leadership. The four Family Units of the Zone critically evaluating the qualifications of the nominees, unanimously appointed * Mazi Elujioke Ukpaka as the New Zonal Coordinator with * Mazi Friday Onwuchekwa Worlu detailed to deputize him.
The Obio/Akpor Area 2 Coordinator, Mazi Wisdom Elochukwu Okafor, inaugurating them, strictly cautioned against anti-IPOB principles and enjoined them to strenuously work to fully reclaim the dwindling glory of the zone. He encouraged them to run an open, loving, united and formidable administration that will engender growth and indivisibility of the family towards the Biafra restoration struggle in their area of jurisdiction. All members of the zone must join hands to actualize set objectives, he further stressed.
In his post-inaugural speech, the newly appointed Zonal Coordinator, Mazi Elujioke Ukpaka on behalf of the New Executive, thanked the IPOB Obio/Akpor Area 2 leadership and the entire Rumuomasi Family for the confidence reposed in them. He promised that everything humanly possible would be done to ensure pro-active functionality of the zone in every sphere, in line with the laid down rules of the IPOB ably piloted by our dependable leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The event eventually came to an end amidst joy and warm exchange of pleasantries.
