FULANI RUGA THREAT: A POTENTIAL DYNAMITE FOR THE IMMINENT DISSOLUTION OF NIGERIA
Obviously, the Fulani oligarchy in firm control of the Nigerian Islamic government is relentlessly beating the drums of war across the country over the suspended RUGA policy. It is necessary that the Nigerian federation be dissolved to allow for peace within the West African sub-region. The urgency attached for dissolution hinges on the fact that few days back, the Nigerian government made a declaration suspending the devilish policy called RUGA, wherein the ancestral lands of the indigenous population within the Nigerian contraption will be forcefully dispossessed and designated as Fulani Ruga settlements. The Fulani cabals hiding under the cloak of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) and their Northern leaders have ceaselessly been talking tough about the imminent mayhem that will be unleashed on Igbos (Biafrans), particularly residing in the Northern part of Nigeria. It should be stated that recently too, trailers (trucks) loaded with cows by the Fulanis were used to barricade the Asaba/Agbor axis of Onitsha/Benin expressway in Delta State by the occupants of the trucks who chanted war songs like "No Ruga, No Nigeria, No Ruga, No Nigeria ".
Recall that few days ago, a set of Fulani youths named "Coalition of Northern Youths" led by one notorious Abdul-Aziz Suleiman, threatened fire and brimestone against the Nigerian government should the so-called suspension of the Ruga project fails reversal at the expiration of their 30 days ultimatum. In the broadcast containing the genocidal threat, the Fulani youths openly and arrogantly stated that as the ultimatum elapses, Igbos resident in Northern Nigerian cities will face unprecedented spate of attacks and forcefully be ejected therefrom. Their businesses and properties equally will be vandalised as their brethren back home bluntly rejected the Ruga policy. In the same vein, quite a number of socio-political cum cultural leaders of Fulani extraction such as Professor Ango Abdullahi, have been making inciteful comments, threatening that the Fulani herdsmen must maintain their persistent invasion of communities in Southern Nigeria especially Biafraland whether the people like it or not.
With these proofs of calculated orgy of violence schemed by the Fulanis, one then begins to question the rationale behind the continued existence of Nigeria. The indigenous nations within the Nigerian federation must have to be accorded some respect for once in their ancestral lands. There has not been any type of insolence, threat of genocide, blackmail and military siege which these grossly maladious, vampiric tribalists known as Fulanis, have not meted out on the mentality/psyche of the indigenous population entrapped in Nigeria. The words of wisdom credited to the late Biafran Military Head of State between 1967 to 1970 cum the People's General, Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu comes handy: "Let there be no Nigeria"!
With the threats of the Fulani youths in the Nigerian federation backed by their socio-political and cultural leaders against the indigenous natives who reject the implementation of the devilish Ruga policy on their land of inheritance, why should Nigeria which has assumed an oppressive yoke be keeping the indigenous inhabitants and the Nigerian nomadic aliens, invaders/ killers from the Sahara desert, bound in an unworkable co-existence? Has the blood of the indigenous people not been shed enough in the course of sustaining "One-Nigeria? Has the Fulani oligarchy in firm control of the Nigerian government not yet done with insulting the sensitivity of other tribes?
This is the ample time the oppressed and deprived indigenous tribes should courageously take the bull by the horn by firmly standing in synergy and placing demand for the outright dissolution of Nigeria. This is the only panacea that will fast track the full and total restoration of all the indigenous inhabitants lumped up in Nigeria, the respective low population indices of some, notwithstanding. Such an approach will properly pitch them in their pride of place in the African continent and inalienably too, restoring lasting peace and progress across the ancestral lands both in this part of the world and beyond.
