BIAFRA: YOUR BUSINESSES AND PROPERTIES ARE MORE SECURED IN A RESTORED BIAFRA THAN IN NIGERIA---MAZI NNAMDI KANU ASSURES BIAFRANS
With the imminence of Biafra independence daily becoming an indisputable reality, one distinct phenomenon increasingly stands out, bothering and posing a daunting blackmail to most Biafran residents in Northern Nigeria particularly. Such cities like Kano, Jos, Kaduna, Sokoto, Maiduguri and few places in the Western part like Lagos and Ibadan where Igbo Biafrans heavily carry out their economic activities, are worthy of mention. They are domiciled in the above mentioned places where they are equally engaged in lifetime business activities. The Maiden Magazine of Family Writers Press International released on August 2018, carried an article authored by it's National Leader, Mazi Somto Okonkwo, giving just details concerning the fate of Igbo Biafran businesses doting the cities of Lagos amongst others across the Northern flank, when eventually, the sovereignty of the nation of Biafra is restored. He emphasized that any duly registered businesses/properties located in any part of Nigeria will be clearly protected from vandalism and confiscation by the natives/governments of the host communities/states.
Moreover, during a townhall meeting held in Atlanta - Georgia, in the United States of America between the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Worldwide, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and members of World Igbo Congress (WIC), this same concern was clearly addressed. In that separate gathering following the meeting the leader held with IPOB family members at Martin Luther King Jnr. Freedom Square in USA, the underneath question and response were given:
WIC Participant: Onyeisi (leader), what really will be the fate of Igbo people's businesses and properties spread across Northern/Western Nigeria in the event of the restoration of the Biafra nation?
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu: All the businesses and properties belonging to the Igbos and densely located across the Northern/Western parts of Nigeria will be much better secured at the restoration of the nation of Biafra than in Nigeria.
The IPOB leader quite clear stated that when Biafra is fully restored, all relevant/applicable international laws guiding the ownership of properties and businesses in foreign lands will be invoked. All such Biafra people's economic concerns scattered all over Nigeria, will receive maximum security no matter their locations. Therefore, it is important for Biafran residents in both Northern and Western parts of the country, to join forces with their brethren in the Biafra independence struggle now. The IPOB leader has himself, distinctly told the people to dispel fears as they have absolutely nothing to lose as their properties and business empires will be accorded the required legal security. But in the event that Nigeria remains undisolved, it must be noted that such businesses and properties could be brazenly tampered with at will as the lily-livered South-East governors and the proscribed Ohaneze Ndigbo self-serving political merchants, lack the wherewithal or will not be able to muster the required courage to do the needful. We as a people, are enthusiastically looking forward to seeing the full and total restoration of the sovereign nation of Biafra so that we can collectively reap the benefits therein.
