THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY SHOULD TAKE A CLOSE WATCH AS BIAFRANS CONDUCT THEIR REFERENDUM

THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY SHOULD TAKE A CLOSE WATCH AS BIAFRANS CONDUCT THEIR REFERENDUM

On Saturday 16th February 2019, just few days away from now, Biafrans across Biafraland will clearly be demonstrating before the international community, their avowed right of boycott of Nigeria presidential election for a Sit-At-Home, for a Referendum. Presented before the global community is the dire need to get herself acquainted  with the unfolding history in which Biafrans will decide to take their destiny into their hands as they decide their fate in the contrapted entity called Nigeria.  Biafrans resident in the entire Biafra territories, are determined to make history as they prepare to completely and totally boycott the forthcoming presidential election of Nigeria that will rattle the world. This exercise will of course, culminate into an unprecedented lockdown of activities all across Biafraland.

It is necessary therefore, for the international community especially the United Nations, European Union, African Union, governments of the United States of America, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Israel, Russia etcetera, to deploy their delegates, observers and journalists for the event monitor, in order to get first hand, unbiased and detailed accounts concerning all that will transpire on Saturday 16th February 2019 Nigeria presidential election cum Biafra referendum exercise date. The world should fully understand the importance of witnessing the clear position of the Biafran people regarding their tortuous and unproductive stay in Nigeria. They want to use this opportunity of the Nigerian presidential election to prove before the world, that they have totally rejected Nigeria and all that she represents, and so must have outright political freedom of all Biafran territories.

Expectantly, a de facto Biafran government with all relevant cabinet and functional portfolios could be unveiled after the referendum exercise on Saturday 16th February 2019, for onward conduct of provincial/tribal referendum that will herald unfettered Biafran independence. The leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) globally, has in it's wisdom, strategically chosen to tenaciously follow stipulated democratic process in the journey towards the restoration of Biafra sovereignty, as clearly contained in a response from the European Union Vice President/Special Representative on Foreign Affairs, Ms Federica Moghereni. In that letter of response which was also made available to the Organization of Emerging African States (OEAS) led by Dr. Jonathan Levy, dated 10th February 2016, Ms Moghereni stated verbatim that the European Union will give support to a sovereign Biafra nation that will emerge through the instrumentality of internationally recognized democratic process. This is of course, what the upcoming referendum primarily intends to achieve.
It was in respect to this position of the European Union and governments of other countries which advised the IPOB leadership to judiciously toe the line of democratic process of having a referendum, that the date of 16th February 2019, was chosen for Biafrans to demonstrate their desire through a Sit-At-Home. This was strategically placed to avert the Nigerian government's relentless brutal clampdown on Biafran agitators. The global community must certainly be a witness to the anticipated massive compliance of Biafrans to the referendum exercise, come the decision day. Biafrans have at all times against all shades of provocation and persecution from the Nigerian government over the years, maintained high level of discipline and calmness in line with the law. The global community should as a matter of responsibility and respect for existing international laws as clearly stipulated, reciprocate by mobilizing to be a witness to the upcoming Biafra internal referendum.
