The student arm of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), otherwise known and addressed as Voice of Biafran Students (VOBS), on Thursday 29th November 2018, paid a homely visit to Mazi George Onyeibe at his residence in Biafraland. He doubles as the African Representative of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Nigerian National Interim Coordinator.
The meeting recorded encouraging attendance of Student Coordinators from various States (Provinces) across Biafraland including Rivers, Abia, Anambra, Imo, Enugwu, etcetera. The gathering became expedient due to the value attached to the young, vibrant, brilliant, intellectual and productive minds these students are wired with, in conjunction with the pivotal role they could energetically play in shaping up the affairs of a given movement cum nation building. It was also used to brainstorm on possible ways to drastically curtail the incidences of activism of Biafran students in Nigeria's bastardized politics which is being bequeathed to upcoming generations by self-serving, corrupt and hooliganistic politicians in Nigeria. The forum provided the attendees the needed platform for the promotion of the gospel of Biafra restoration with far reaching superior arguments to all the nooks and crannies of all Higher Institutions within the Biafra territory. The meeting which was essentially strategic, was called to helpfully sensitize Biafran students towards their massive boycott of the upcoming Nigeria organized fraudulent elections scheduled for 2019 and also to get the people prepared for Biafra referendum.
The African Representative of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi George Onyeibe, handed out wide ranging advise to the students on the need to galvanize their efforts in ensuring that their voices are driven home for the desired results, stating that "Igwe bu Ike"...meaning that "unity is strenght". At this point, the South-South Coordinator of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Maxi Harry Onyema, joined the meeting. He expressed his joy for the meeting and enjoined the participants to be exceptionally courageous, committed and resolute.
Some sensitive subjects regarding the Biafra restoration struggle were satisfactorily addressed. The meeting eventually came to a close with remarks given by various participating Student Coordinators.
