JUBILATION AS BIAFRANS HAIL THE PROSCRIPTION OF OHANEZE NDIGBO AND SOUTH EAST GOVERNORS

An unprecedented jubilation erupted in major cities of Biafra Land in the early hours of Thursday September 20, 2018 when the news of the proscription of the activities Ohaneze Ndigbo and South East governors by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) went viral on media courtesy IPOB press release. The people of Biafra were seen on the streets of Onitsha, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Aba singing songs of liberation like "Hoooly, holy, holy, Nnamdi Kanu is another saviour...". When approached by Family Writers Press correspondents covering these cities over the cause of the unprecedented jubilation, the jubilating crowd told Family Writers Press that the jubilation erupted because of the successful proscription of Ohaneze Ndigbo and South East governors together with their treacherous activities against the people in Biafra Land.

It could be recalled that in the evening of Wednesday September 19, 2018, the separatist movement, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) through its media and publicity secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful made a Press release which contained the official proscription of Ohaneze Ndigbo and South East governors’ forum all over Biafra. In the said Press statement, IPOB vehemently warned that anybody, institution, government or organization engaging in any business or diplomatic consultations/inquiries on behalf of the people of Biafra with Ohaneze Ndigbo and South East governors is doing so at his/her/their own risk because the people of Biafra have rejected Ohaneze Ndigbo and the governors because they are stooges of oppression in the Land. According to the press release, the total compliance to the sit at home order billed for September 14, 2018 occasioned by the IPOB General Strike of National mourning by the people of residing all over Biafra Land is attestation to the fact that the masses have rejected Ohaneze Ndigbo and the Sokoto Caliphate appointed governors.

According to one of the people jubilating in Onitsha who was interviewed by Family Writers Press team correspondents by name Mr Chinedu Ezeoke, he said that the jubilation erupted in the city of Onitsha because the people are celebrating a new era in Biafra Land when power has eventually returned to the people once again as it was before the advent of western world civilization, courtesy of the efforts of Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. He said that the people of Biafra are praising God because of the emergence of IPOB which represents the true wish of the people of Biafra. In the same vein, Family Writers Press correspondents in Port Harcourt also interviewed a civil servant with Rivers State government with his name, Engineer Sylvester Okey Chinda who said that the people of Ikwerre are happy with proscription of Ohaneze Ndigbo and Igbo governors so that his Igbo brothers in South East will have sigh of relief from the overtime treachery of those political predators called Ohaneze Ndigbo. When Family Writers Press asked Engineer Chinda about the position of Ikwerre people on the agitation of Biafra, he simply said that Ikwerre is 100% in support of Biafra Independence because Ikwerre is more Biafra than any other tribe including Igbo and Ijaw. He made it clear that there is no other State all over Biafra Land with higher concentration of Biafra agitators and their activities than Rivers State. Therefore, Ikwerre has highest ratio or percentage of Biafran agitators than any other tribe in Biafra Land.

All other interviews conducted in major cities of Biafra Land during the hours of the jubilation proved that the people of Biafra are all happy with IPOB leadership for the proscription of Ohaneze Ndigbo and South East governors. All the people are hailing IPOB leadership for such a pragmatic step taken according to the desire of them of the masses. All efforts made to get the reaction of some principal officers of Ohaneze Ndigbo proved abortive as none of them pick their calls.
