THE FALL OUT OF IPOB AND OHANEZE NDIGBO, TRUE REFLECTION OF THE MINDS OF THE PEOPLE

THE FALL OUT OF IPOB AND OHANEZE NDIGBO, TRUE REFLECTION OF THE MINDS OF THE PEOPLE

It is said that "when people have reasons to be scared of their elders, you cannot reassure them through the barrel of a gun; your only hope is to talk  one on one, or as a group."
People are bound to defend the integrity of their state, and even to die in its defence, no matter what it takes! This is due to the fact that it is important to safeguard the wellbeing and the future of their children. When elders cease to stand for the integrity, protection, and the wellbeing of their wards, there is every tendency to reject these elders and seek for help elsewhere.

It is an inalienable right which cannot be questioned  by any individual. And that is why there is an Igbo adage which states that: "an elder does not sit at home while the goat gives birth in tether." When it becomes obvious to more than twelve million people that they have been completely and  outrightly rejected by the elders for their own personal interests, and there is no any basis for unity between the elders and their children, then the unity ceases to exist. You cannot kill thousands of people, and keep killing more, and expect people to keep calm all in the name of unity. Again, there is a common saying that "in the days of peace, the sons bury their fathers, but during the war the fathers live to bury their sons in deep graves." Can I say that the "Ohaneze Ndigbo" could be thought of as the fathers ready to bury their sons, yet they do not feel for the great lose just to please their slave masters?

The Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) leadership announced their intentions to embark on a peace talk with the "Ohaneze Ndigbo" and South-East governors, many were skeptical about the move. There were negative comments emanating from our people having known how the "Ohaneze" sold their consciences. The inability of the "Ohaneze" leadership and South-East Governors to be bound to the agreement earlier stipulated by IPOB is a clear indication  that they are not in any way  remorseful for their heinous crime against IPOB. It is pertinent to recall that on 13th October, 2017 Igbonekwu Ogazimorah wrote on his Facebook page: “Full swing of opportunism! IPOB fought the War, died the Deaths; took the bad names; Ohaneze is in the Aso Rock for the spoils!” The rejection of the peace talk by "Ohaneze" and South-East governors is just the fulfillment of the above statement. My question bogging for answers remain: what would happen to the ohaneze if they sit and watch their people slaughtered by their pay masters?
Finally, Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Martin Luther  Jnr and other freedom fighters were thought of as being stupid but today their intents have been well known and understood hence exonerating their "stupidity".

From the above assertion, if IPOB does not make hay while the sun shines, we will remain a generation of slaves in our own fatherland!
