"TAKE CATTLE RANCHING TO SAMBISA FOREST" -BIAFRANS TELL NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT

Biafrans the world over, under the auspices of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), unanimously reject in strongest terms, any surreptitious plan by the occupational government of Nigeria to establish cattle ranches in Ebonyi State or any other part of Biafraland. This was publicly made known through the Family Writers Press Correspondents who sampled opinions from across the Biafran territories on the move of the Nigerian government to establish cattle ranches precisely in Ebonyi State for the murderous Fulani killer herdsmen (terrorists). Recently, the Muhammadu Buhari Islamic government of Nigeria, announced it's plan to establish cattle ranches in 10 States of the defunct Nigerian Federation with Ebonyi State included. The government also announced that 179 Billion Naira of tax payers money has callously been budgeted for the project. This will be given to the Fulani herdsmen (aliens) whom President Muhammadu Buhari himself once told the world, were Libyan nationationals, trained by late Mamour Gaddafi's regime who have been unrelentlessly terrorising and killing innocent Nigerians/Biafrans in their ancestral lands. Biafrans in Biafraland, have very unequivocally declared that there exists absolutely no vacant land in Ebonyi State or elsewhere within Biafra territories, that will accommodate the establishment of cattle ranches. Most Biafrans interviewed frowned at the news and emphatically declared to the Nigerian Islamic cum occupational government to consider establishing such ranches in the Sambisa forest where there exists vast expanse of land. A cross-section of interviewees in Abakiliki, Ebonyi State, maintained that no amount of threats will force the Ebonyi State Biafran youths to surrender an inch of their ancestral lands for the establishment of cattle colonies.
Family Writers Press crack team of journalists also collated reactionary statements regarding this sinister Islamisation policy in other parts of Biafraland. In Port Harcourt, Rivers State, people interviewed stated that the Nigerian government is just instigating crisis by including Ebonyi State particularly in that proposal. In Enugu State, there was a collective opposition to such an arrangement. They maintained that Ebonyi people who are predominantly peasant farmers can never peacefully dwell together with these marauding Fulani killer herdsmen in the name of cattle ranching.
Contacted religious, traditional and political leaders in Ebonyi State stated that the Ebonyi State government has never informed them of any plan of partnering with the Nigerian government on an such enterprise. Seeking the position of the Ebonyi State Commissioner of Agriculture on the matter, maintained that the State Executive Council which himself is a member, rejected anything associated with cattle ranch establishment in the state. He further stated that the people of the State were already crying out and engrossed in communal clashes over insufficient lands for their agricultural purposes before now and therefore the talk of granting portions of lands for cattle ranching is inconsequential.
Interviewed citizens of Afikpo in Ebonyi South Senatorial District said that the Nigerian government lacked conscience and advised that such establishments should be taken to the Sambisa forest in Borno State which is vastly lying waste. According to them, the establishment of cattle ranches inside the Sambisa forest will significantly reduce the menace of Boko Haram terrorist activities in the North Eastern part of Nigeria. They also accused the Islamic cum occupational government of Nigeria of trying to truncate the relative peace and tranquility that have so far existed in Ebonyi State since the end of communal crisis between various communities. The Ezilo and Ezza, Isu Ohaozara and Ezza Ogbuji, Mgbo and Agila communities presently enjoy commensurate peace amongst themselves due to the amicable resolution of clashes that had previously existed arising from land related issues. The Biafrans maintained that establishing cattle ranches in Ebonyi State means a return to the era of incessant bloody conflicts amongst brethren arising from insufficient agricultural lands.
The Current Affairs Department of the Family Writers Press hereby wishes to join the Afikpo youths in urging the Nigerian government to cautiously apply reason by determinedly converting the Sambisa forest which it stated has been retrieved from the Boko Haram terrorists, into mega-cattle ranches to serve the business interests of the Fulanis. Any Nigerian who wishes to purchase cows in commercial quantities or whatever, can readily and always, locate the Sambisa forest for such related transactions, as this will definitely stem the tide of killings of innocent people by the Fulanis in Nigeria.
