In his inauguration speech, the IPOB Owerri Zonal Coordinator, Mazi Abraham, commended the students amongst Nekede indigenes who massively converged for the event for their efforts. He advised the students to remain focused on their studies and eschew all tendencies towards cultism and other social vices that will taint their image. The Zonal Coordinator called for synergy for the creation of additional units in their respective departments.
The Executive Officers of the IPOB Family in the institution were confirmed and encouraged to always exhibit love and unity in their onerous tasks of pushing the IPOB drive for the upcoming Biafra referendum.
A lecturer in one of the Universities within Imo State, Mazi Ogbonna, in his speech, encouraged the students to take their studies serious as that remains the channel of their lifting in life in their various disciplines. He elucidated some effective ways they can facilitate the evangelism task for the Biafra restoration struggle.
Mazi Chika Austin, an invitee to the event, in his submission, emphasized that Biafra is already here with us and therefore, cannot be truncated by anything whatsoever. He advised the newly inaugurated family unit members to always get themselves aquianted with the trending news/information about Biafra. This he stressed will stem amongst them, the wave of deformity that has bedeviled the society.
An invited student from the Federal University of Technology (FUTO), Mazi Umunnakwe who also serves the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the capacity of deputy coordinator in the institution, advised Nekede brethren to employ more result-oriented efforts in their evangelism outreaches in their hostels. He further outlined some veritable measures on how the IPOB students at the Polytechnic can achieve set objectives. He assured them that his leadership in Owerri Province will stop at nothing in giving required assistance to the newly inaugurated unit.
In his closing remarks, Mazi Abraham whole- heatedly thanked the students for identifying with the struggle, while Mazi Ogbonna, his Secretary said the closing prayers.
