The leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide has decreed a total lockdown of activities in the entire Biafra territory come Wednesday 30th May 2018, even as Biafrans the world over, unreservedly put finishing touches to arrangements billed to commemorate this year's Heroes and Heroines Remembrance Day, which that date signifies. The commemoration stretches down to the plains of Idoma and Igala (Northern flank) of Biafra, down to the gulf of Guinea (Southern flank) which embodies the present day states of Abia, Anambra, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Enugu, Rivers and parts of Edo. The Sit-At-Home observance entails total absence of human, animal and vehicular traffics across the entire Biafraland. Both commercial and corporate businesses are expected to be on standstill.
The heroism of every Biafran within and without, will be determined by obediently adhering to this order. Our being alive till date and expressively pursuing our individual businesses in whatever part of the globe, is tied to the invaluable sacrifices our heroes and heroines made even at the expense of their lives. We are therefore required to honour them on Wednesday 30th of May 2018, by observing a total Sit-At-Home. They charted a remarkable course for us mindless of the sanctity of their lives, frontally defending their fatherland against the gruesome onslaught of the Nigerian military and their British backers. These Biafran men and women staked their lives resisting the planned annihilation of Biafrans from the surface of the earth. There is absolutely no greater honor and respect that can be accorded these crop of individuals like late Army Generals Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu, Philip Effiong, Alexander Madiebo, late Brigadier Timothy Onwuatuegu, late Colonel Joseph Achuzie, late Captain Ben Gbulie, late Admiral Anuku amongst other deceased Biafran civilian elites and freedom fighters such as: Professor Chinua Achebe, Pa Frank Opigo, Professor Eni Njoku et cetera, for their sacrifices other than a comprehensive compliance to the Sit-At-Home order declared by the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide.
It is based on this premise therefore, that all public office holders (Politicians) from Biafra extraction such as Senators Ike Ekweremadu, David Mark, Enyinnaya Abaribe, amongst 33 Senators presently serving in the Nigerian Senate, should as a matter of respect and recognition, shun their legislative functions come Wednesday 30th of May 2018, as a mark of honor through their observance of this Heroes and Heroines Remembrance Day through the instrumentality of a Sit-At-Home. All the serving Governors within Biafra territory namely: Dave Umahi (Ebonyi), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta), Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa), Udom Emmanuel (Akwa-Ibom), Nyesom Ezebunwo Wike (Rivers) and Professor Ben Ayade (Cross River), are widely expected to comply with this directive by shutting down activities same day. Biafrans will not compromise any rebellious tendencies arising from whatever quarter against this annual program as consequences cannot be imagined. Major Biafran International markets like Onitsha Main Market, Ariaria Main Market Aba, Nkwo Nnewi Spare Parts Market, Eke Awka Main Market, Building Materials Market Obigbo - Igweocha, Ogbete Main Market, Enugu, et cetera, are all expected to comply.
Biafrans should note that as the steam of this annual Sit-At-Home event is unanimously kept in observance, the global community is closely monitoring and taking records. We must ensure that there is 100℅ lockdown of activities in Biafraland even with the absence of the indomitable and resolute IPOB leader, our own Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. It will then stand out as an irrefutable testimony and resolve of Biafrans within and without, that the quest for the unfettered restoration of Biafra is a collective effort. Wednesday 30th of May being our Heroes and Heroines Remembrance Day must be kept sacrosanct in commemoration of all Biafrans who have sacrificed that we may have our being. This is yet another auspicious moment in our struggle that must not be trifled with.
