POETIC  LETTER TO PRESIDENT BUHARI: TIME TO QUIT AND THINK

Buhari

Human Rights should be your oats,
Constitution should be your reference point,
Human life, as sacred as it is, the reason for your service;
Why then is the desecration of the office-
 When Truth should be the realization of your office?

The killings,
So brutal and questionable.
 Without an atom of remorse,
Men lay dead at your command.  Failed to give peace a chance,
How can you pluck the fruits of harmony?

For there is hidden propaganda in discord,
Which often breed stages to set-backs;
and there are lasting avenues to success
Which cannot be achieved through anarchy.

Planned dialogue brings good results.
Lasting harmonies are not usually realized
through the means of war and battles.

For what cannot be achieved by tyranny
May easily come by without arms
Hitler failed to grasp at his target-
not because he was weak,
 but the means...

 Only  if you can give common sense a chance,
 listen to me
and drop your ego
for a dialogue embrace.

For unless we tell ourselves the truth,
about the brain-child of this animosity,
we may never get solution to it.
So let's be bold and tell ourselves the truth;
And be able to overcome the thorn in our flesh
for only the truth  can set the tribes free,
that peace and harmony may reign again.

The nations can live separately;
Talents are  best with the truth
 In separate ways peace is assured,
For Man has no choice
but play the way.

Mass opinion is sacrosanct,
More sacrosanct than authority and power.
And in the end we realise,
That unity as neighboring free nations
Remains the best option.
