"GIVE US BIAFRA AND NOT 88 BILLION NAIRA COMPENSATION"- BIAFRANS TELL NIGERIAN GOVT AND ECOWAS COURT
As Biafrans are eagerly waiting for the final command from IPOB leadership on the referendum date for Biafra after November 18th election boycott in Anambra State, where Biafrans would show the world their unalloyed resolve for Biafra restoration, the Nigerian government has obviously conspired with ECOWAS Court to divert the attention of Biafrans worldwide from the trending topic, Biafra referendum, to the compensation ruse of 88 Billion Naira for the genocidal war damages in Biafra land. That is, all the damages done during and after the Nigeria-Biafra genocidal war of 1967 as delivered by ECOWAS court on 30/10/2017. The news of the compensation ruse of 88 Billion Naira by ECOWAS court is presently making waves in the Nigerian media with the target to divert the attention of Biafrans from the struggle to restore Biafra Sovereignty. This laughable offer by the government would be effort in futility, as opined by a cross section of Biafrans interviewed by Family Writers Press correspondents.
Immediately after the news hit the air, Family Writers Press journalists all over the world sought the opinions of Biafrans nearest to them individually over the ECOWAS court ruling and the responses were:
"GIVE US BIAFRA AND TAKE YOUR 88 BILLION NAIRA, WE WANT NOTHING BUT BIAFRA".
Virtually all the Biafrans interviewed expressed total disappointment on ECOWAS court for the conspiracy with the Nigerian government to use the compensation of 88 Billion Naira to divert the attention of Biafrans when it is obvious that the Nigerian government has never obeyed any court verdict delivered by ECOWAS Court or any other Nigerian Court. But whether the desperately unity begging and pseudo peace searching Nigerian government will obey ECOWAS court on this very verdict or not, it is no longer the issue. What matters is, Biafrans want Biafra restoration. It is obvious that ECOWAS Court has connived with the Nigerian government and publicized the cheap ruse of the government paying a compensation of 88 Billion Naira for the damages of the genocidal war in Biafra land. On this note, Biafrans wish to make it clear to the world that no amount of cheap propaganda being peddled by the Nigerian government would deter the efforts put in place for Biafra referendum. Biafrans do not want any financial compensation from the Nigerian government but outright restoration of Biafra.
The Nigerian government and its mischievous allies who manufactured this outrageous and non existent verdict which no lawyer stood in for Biafrans at ECOWAS Court should know that no amount of compensation would measure up to the evils committed in Biafra land by the genocidist Yakubu Gowon; from 1945 Jos riot, Kano massacre of 1953, 1966 pogrom against Biafran civilians all over Northern Nigeria; to 1967 - 70 genocidal war levied against Biafrans up until when the Nigerian government abducted Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). By the way, where would the Nigerian government get the money to pay such and to whom would it be paid? If I may ask: what about Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s case at the ECOWAS Court? Why can't ECOWAS Court begin from there?
How can the Nigerian government connive with ECOWAS court to talk of compensation at the moment when the Nigerian murderous army and other security agencies are still kidnapping and killing Biafrans secretly without any remorse in Aba, Onitsha, Umuahia, Port Harcourt and many other places in Biafra land?
Biafrans hereby state categorically that the only compensation needed from the Nigerian government is to allow them exit Nigeria peacefully through a referendum or outrightly carve out Biafran territories out of Nigeria. Anything short of that is unacceptable. So, the Nigerian government can keep its 88 Billion Naira proposed compensation to itself. Biafrans are not dummies. No amount of trillions of British pounds can change the position by Biafrans worldwide which is their vehement resolve and demand for the restoration of Biafra even under the rain of bullets from the Nigerian security agencies. If the Nigerian government fails to organize a referendum for Biafra, Nigeria and her citizens will never rest from the voracious agitation going on because Biafrans have unanimously rejected Nigeria and everything in her including her proposed 88 Billion Naira compensation.
In conclusion, the Nigerian government should stop running from pillar to post seeking for solution where it does not exist but just organize Biafra referendum so that peace will reign once again in the world. As for Biafrans, it is still Biafra or Death! No going back!
