BORN FOR A PURPOSE: AM AN OGONI MAN AND THIS IS MY BIRTHDAY AS A BIAFRA ACTIVIST

It was a precious morning of 9th of August many years ago in the family of Mr and Mrs Leeleebari. A mother was in so much pain and when taken to the hospital birthed a baby boy who brought so much happiness to the family and the community as well. Though I was told of the difficulties that surrounded my birth but I likened it to be the sole Will of Chukwu Okike Abiama as he remaineth the giver of life in the whole universe. I grew up as a child with my parents and siblings in a well cultured manner, until I came of age to understanding my surroundings and upon seeing the sinister, lugubrious cruel world, I began to ask questions as to what could be the reason why things were the way they were. Meanwhile, as I was asking these questions and seeking answers to them as to why the suffering, excruciating pain, overlashing poverty and untimely death I found in the part of the world I live. The search of answers to my unending questions brought me to the scripture thus, "For man born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble". Is this the fate of humanity? Are there no free people in terms of political, cultural, social freedom in this world?
However, it is rather unfortunate and highly regrettable , haven grown-up to realize that I was born into a society where slavery, oppression, servitude, and poverty holds sway, not as though we lack human and natural resources to exist but everybody sees it as a normal business. Though during my fact finding, I was told about Biafra and the man who for once questioned why there should be so much killing and suffering in the land and when the questions were unanswered, declared a sovereign state of Biafra after which a genocidal war of aggression and attrition was levied on his people which many international communities were accomplices. This war was because the Nigerian state and their allies wanted the natural resources hugely deposited therein and not the people, hence their intentions to completely obliterate, extinguish and wipe out the Biafran people. These are no other people than Britain and Nigerian Northern Hausa Fulani Oligarchy.
Should I now return to my mother's womb so as to avoid being part of this oppression?
I wish I could, but unfortunately that's impossible. Though suffering too atrophied for pen, I could see hope afar.
However, looking round the world, freedom has always been the answer to slavery, oppression and possible obliteration of a people by their oppressor. For instance,
Israel remained in perpetual captivity until the time of Moses,
America remained in perpetual slavery until the time of George Washington,
Blacks in America remained in unending deprivation and subjugation until the time of Martin Luther King,
South African blacks remained in perpetual bondage until the time of Nelson Mandela.
And so on!
But while growing up and in search of a Messiah, just when I was about to give up to despair, alas! here comes the saviour of the people , hence the arrival of the Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra, the figurehead of the unimpeded and unstoppable restoration of Biafra struggle. As an Ogoni man from Babe kingdom in Khana local government area of Ogoni land, a bonafide Biafran citizen, I am one of those who do not condone evil and injustice, neither do I accept slavery as a lifestyle, hence buying into the vision of our supreme leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu with a burning desire and enthusiasm to seek for my freedom and total emancipation of Biafrans in the Nigeria's old Eastern region. Now that I have found a leader, I know i was chosen to be part of the Biafra restoration project. I know I was born for this and am not relenting. I can no longer fold my hands and watch my people being brutalise and maim on daily bases. No! No! No! I had since decided to queue behind and join forces with the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra in his unfettered quest for Biafra restoration and until then I will remain loyal to his authority and command.
Surviving the tough times, the heat of several protests where some even wished me death but to God be the glory, I am still here, looking forward to the challenges ahead because I know that "AT THE END WE SHALL WIN".
I therefore call on all our people from "South South" region to rise up for the time is now, our freedom has never been so nigh and glaring that we should jettison this opportunity. Support Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, support IPOB and support Biafra for your own good.
With this I say "Happy Birthday To Me", as i hope to celebrate my next birthday in a fully restored Biafra Nation. God bless good people around the world,
God bless Mazi Nnamdi Kanu,
God bless IPOB and
God bless Biafra.
