UNITED NATIONS SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE SHOULD ANY WAR BREAKS OUT IN NIGERIA

Sir, I wish to bring to your attention, the evolving dangerous scenarios in which the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) are really contending with in the British contraption called Nigeria which is a signatory to the United Nations charter on self determination of oppressed Indigenous people groups. It is the height of hypocrisy that right under your watch, Biafrans are relentlessly massacred at will just because they are exercising their fundamental rights.
It is despicable to note that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was illegally incarcerated for almost 2 years in Kuje maximum prison by the government of Nigeria contrary to the rulings of courts of competent jurisdiction that he be released unconditionally, but were brazenly flaunted. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) trooped out to protest these acts of impunity in their millions within the ambit of civilized laws, only to be mowed down in their thousands by the Nigeria security forces. It has been on indisputable records of unbiased global watchers that the IPOB under the able leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has been most peaceful and organised in human history, in their quest for freedom and justice.
It is an act of betrayal and injustice for the United Nations to be looking the other way when the rights of the people they claim to protect are trampled under feet by despotic governments and their agencies. During periods of Nnamdi Kanu's illegal detention, not even a delegation was sent by your leadership to pay a visit to this ebullient freedom fighter at least to hear his own side of the story. This letter therefore, is designed to serve as a reminder and awaken you to your responsibilities to humanity especially the oppressed, before the unexpected happens. It is on record that it was the nonchalant attitude of this world body (UN) towards promptly addressing situations like this, that led to the gruesome murder of over 3 millions of Biafrans in the 1967 Nigeria/Biafra civil war.
If the United Nations is set up mainly to fight and protect the interests of non-blacks, the leadership of this body should openly declare it for clearer understanding to the world. This if stated would then arm us with alternatives than watching our people being brazenly and blatantly killed like animals with no rescue assistance.
The United Nations cannot maintain deafness and blindness to issues that bothers on the value and integrity of human lives whom they claim to not only represent but also protect. We call on the United Nation Secretary-General - Mr. António Guterres to toe the path of honour and do the needful now so as to avert the undesirable. The Nigerian government must be made to release without further delays, all Biafrans that are in incarcerated in various prison cells across the country and fix a date for the conduct of peaceful Biafra Referendum.
"A stitch in time, as the saying goes, saves nine". There is no better time than now.

Indeed, no better time than now...we are getting out of patients.
ReplyDeleteGaddafi, of Libya when he was alive he said that "United Nation" is made to protect European countries and American countries not for Africans, and Asians. Gaddafi, was the only person who always say the truth about this nonsense political United Nation if care is not taking more than 98 percent of the wars are all caused by United Nation and which is pure truth
ReplyDeleteUnited Nation, is totally rubbish they are there for nothing their work is to create Wars and Terrorism that's their work
ReplyDeleteBuhari/Osinbajo. or what you call your self. Nigeria has expired 1914-2014. better divide the zoo now or faces civil war soon. Let ODUDUWA /AREWA /BIAFRA go their separate way of life.TIME IS LIMIT AND BIAFRANS MUST GO BY PEACE OR BY WAR.
ReplyDeleteAs our leader Nnamdi Kanu said long time ago, only war can bring us Biafra. But what price we have to pay?
ReplyDeleteThe United Nations and global powers do not care for Africans - especially Black people. Until, we develop the weapons or pickup arms to fight for our freedom, they will never have any respect for us. Freedom do not come easy. It requires ultimate sacrifices - but if we must pay for it to be free, it'll be worth it. The mistake of 1967-70 must be avoided. We are fully capable to liberate our people and land this time around because Nigeria is already failed State and disintegrated.
