WE ARE ALL MESSENGERS IN BIAFRA

We need to always set our eyes on the goal which is Biafra restoration. Biafra is the Project and we are the messengers that will disseminate the required information that will facilitate its actualisation. And in carrying out this duty, we must always bear in mind that we are just messengers with undivided loyalty.
Between 1966 and 1967, the need for the declaration of Biafra Republic surfaced and the ebullient Chukwuemeka Odumemegwu Ojukwu, seized the opportunity and did the needful. In his hands and with an uncompromising efforts, Biafra was given birth to. Late Ojukwu, other fallen Hero's/Heroines and us, the living, fought and are yet fighting to protect her. About 2 million children paid the prize of protection for her. Women also left their kitchens and homes alongside their men counterparts to lend credence to this protection drive. Men fought without required boots, dresses and adequate combat weaponry. Boys were conscripited from Igboukwu, Amaigbo, Asaba, Efiklands, Ijawlands, Ikwerrelands, Ogonilands etc, to fight at the expense of their lives and comfort, to keep Biafra. Biafra was and is yet our life, our identity and our future. We simply without any reservation and ambiguity, gave our all and are still giving all. Every messenger contributed his/her quota for the survival of this new born -,Biafra, the land of the Rising Sun.
Ojukwu, the number one compatriot who championed this message in 1966 is no more but Biafra is yet alive here with us permanently inscribed in our subconsciousness.
That war of preserving the new born nation of Biafra may not have been won according to expectation but we never lost our identity as a people. The journey back to the contraption called Nigeria for integration wasn't easy because we presumably got back as a people conquered which the Nigerian state has consistently made sure we remained so. All our sea access routes were blockaded, International air routes closed and all federal government's presence in all the defunct Eastern region became illusionary.
Raph Uwazurike thereafter, emerged with the formation of a Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State Of Biafra (MASSOB). Uwazurike and all the members of MASSOB were then all messengers of Biafra. They were all servants of their fatherland, Biafra, the home of freemen. Raph Uwazurike propagated this gospel of Biafra to an extent and wittingly deviated, yet the unquenchable quest for the nation of Biafra, lives on. Today, the drive for the restoration of Biafra is ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), has brought Nigeria to her knees. IPOB in its entirety, both at home and in the diaspora, has indisputably, succeeded by showing to the world that Nigeria has no business being one. IPOB has paid the ultimate price of that proof variously. The indefatigable and very courage leader of this global movement, just like the late Nelson Mandela of South Africa, has been incarcerated in Nigeria under stringent and inhuman conditions and in all these, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB and all its members have remained essentially unruffled and resolute as messengers. No person is bigger than Biafra, yes, absolutely no person. Not the late people's General Odumegwu Ojukwu, not Nnamdi Kanu, not any of us. We are all privileged servants for the sake of our fatherland - Biafra. When we therefore honour our leaders, we don't forget these incontrovertible facts.
There is need for every Biafran to shun whatever differences and work assiduously for the interest of our homeland. We should employ our strength to confront and defeat our enemies and not ourselves, for whosoever that is not against us, is with us.
Family Writers are here in this fight doing their own duties unequivocally for the interest of the full and total restoration of Biafra, and not against anybody or groups but against enemies of Biafra. We as members of this noble and uncompromising profession chose not to waste any of our "bullets" or dissipate our energy on trivial issues nor on any of our valuable comrades no matter what. We are dedicated messengers through the pen, for the nation of Biafra.
