DESPERATE CALL TO THE SOUTHEAST NATIONAL LAWMAKERS: ONLY BIAFRA RESTORATION CAN GIVES US THE REQUIRED DEVELOPMENT

DESPERATE CALL TO THE SOUTHEAST NATIONAL LAWMAKERS: ONLY BIAFRA RESTORATION CAN GIVES US THE REQUIRED DEVELOPMENT

This vociferation to all the Southeast members of the Nigeria National Assembly (House of Representative  members and Senators), yet hobnobbing with the nepotistic federal government on the well being of their people, is borne out of the persistent neglect of both social and structural development of the region. The indocility of the lawmakers stems from their selfish ambitions which centre primarily on political appointments and the attached monetary gains, instead of cashing in on the growing reality of the restoration of Biafra. It is exceptionally disappointing to note the immoral romance politically, these politicians have with their Northern Hausa-Fulanis whose motives are anchored on the exclusive development of their region.

Recent rejection of the Southeast development bill by majority of the Northern lawmakers at the National Assembly, is a testimonial to their unhidden hatred against Biafrans. It also portrays the level of disunity and deep seated animosity inherent amongst the major ethnic groups (Igbo/Biafrans, Oduduwas and Arewas) in the concoction called Nigeria. According to Sunday Karimi, a Kogi state born House of Representative's member, in an interview on Channels Television, stated without mincing words, that what gave birth to the Southeast development bill was to help forestall  the agitation for the restoration for the sovereign state of Biafra by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) led by it's supreme leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. This has however elucidated a barrage of calls by self serving political bigots, of the indivisibility and indestructibility of their "One-Nigeria".

Trending now in the ultimatum handed down by the Arewa Youth Movement  to all the Biafrans resident in the north to vacate the region between now and 1st of October, 2017. It is therefore, reeling in delusion to really fathom the binding factor between Biafrans and exceptionally different set of people (northerners) in every imaginable standard.

It has been reported that Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state in whose domain the AYM vacation resolutions were made, has disassociated himself from the ultimatum order and has claimed to be speaking for the security of the Igbos from harm from the highly nepotistic Islamic youths. But all that are statements of lies and deception. How can a sitting governor and an Islamic fanatical one at that, who has directly or  indirectly supervised the killing of Biafrans particularly in his own state, claim ignorance of such a meeting in a place where nobody can access without the knowledge and permission of the governor? A meeting that was comprised of all prominent youth leaders in the north. His security cum protection promise to Biafrans is just yet, another ploy to trap Biafrans to death.

It is noteworthy to state here that these Arewa Islamic youths have in the past, embarked on massive decimation of Biafrans resident in their domain through well calculated orgy of different grades of sponsored religious violence and belief, which the Islamic federal government of Nigeria has not only failed to investigate but has not deemed it fit to bring sponsors/perpetrators to book.

I am therefore, urging the Southeast politicians with living conscience in the National Assembly, Traditional Rulers, Opinion Leaders, Prominent Business Owners including Chief Executive Officers of salient transport companies and all men of goodwill within the Southeast (Biafraland), to synergize for prompt, full and total evacuation of our brethren from the North before the expiration date of the pack order, as this will most certainly lead to the final disintegration of Nigeria. No Biafran should be allowed across the divide, for true to expectation, the season of the fulfillment of Biafra restoration has dawned.
