NIGERIA SECURITY AGENTS MUST DESIST FROM FURTHER CLAMPDOWN AND SUPPRESSION OF BIAFRA ACTIVISTS

Few days back, news desk of Family Writers has it that officials of the Nigeria Police Force arrested a good number of activists among the Indigenous People of Biafra,IPOB, at Igweocha(Portharcourt), Rivers state.
The Biafra activists were reportedly arrested as a result of evangelism and sensitization rally organized by IPOB Okpulor Zone II on April 2, 2017, at Diamond Estate Okpulor, Umuebulu Etche, in Rivers state.
Mr. Izuchukwu Agu, the deputy coordinator of the IPOB zone spoke with Family Writers' press, even as he revealed that the whereabouts of some of his colleagues are yet to be ascertained. According to him, some personnel of the Nigeria Police Force had on the order of the DPO of the Area, SP Mary Iheanacho, stormed their meeting venue on April 15, 2017 and abducted one Mr. Victor Ogiebe who was actively involved during the sensitization rally.
"One of our own was arrested yesterday, 15 April 2017 by the Nigerian police at our family meeting venue located at UMUEBULU 1 ETCHE, opposite UMUEBULU POLICE STATION,
"Reason of arrest is that we carried out our BIAFRAN EVANGELICAL OUTREACH within the vicinity of UMUEBULU on 2nd April 2017,our brother who was arrested is Mr. Victor Ogiebe, a block molder and the care taker of our meeting vicinity," Mr. Izuchukwu Agu stated during a chat with Family Writers.
Meanwhile, recent reports gathered by Family Writers has it that the recently arrested activist has been subjected to inhumane conditions ever since his arrest. He was denied feeding from both the family members and friends, and to the worst of it all, he was transferred to an unknown destination.
However, It will also be recalled that on February 6, 2017, Federal high court Abuja by Justice Binta Nyako delivered a ruling stating that IPOB is not an illegal organization or group. Therefore, if IPOB worldwide has been legalised by a court of competent jurisdiction, why then is Nigeria and her armed forces still bent on continuous abduction, killing and execution of IPOB activists all over the country.
We are placing the world and the people of goodwill on notice of the barbarism orchestrated by Nigeria government and her security apparatuses against Biafran activists in the country.
Nigeria government must also be warned that the clampdown and suppression of innocent and nonviolent IPOB activists must stop with immediate effect.
