FRUSTRATION OF NNAMDI KANU'S VISITORS, PART OF DESPERATE PLOT TO KILL NNAMDI KANU SILENTLY

FRUSTRATION OF NNAMDI KANU'S VISITORS, PART OF DESPERATE PLOT TO KILL NNAMDI KANU SILENTLY

The plot to assassinate the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra {IPOB}, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and others by British/Nigeria is no longer a rumor as assassination attempts on the IPOB leader thickens.

It is very pathetic and unimaginable to Biafrans and the international community, the evil plan masterminded by the British government which the Nigeria government is set to carry out against Nnamdi Kanu.

On the 7th of April 2017, the Kuje prison officials denied Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's families and friends access to pay homage to the IPOB leader, even when they met all the stringent conditions initiated by Nigeria government to frustrate their visit.

Comrade Gloria Ngozi Okoro, while briefing the press, expressed her total disappointment with the actions of Kuje Prison officials, who denied them access to meet with Nnamdi Kanu at the Kuje prisons. She has this to say:

 "I, Mrs Gloria Ngozi Okoro and many Biafrans with me went to visit our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at Kuje prison just like every other person, which is our constitutional right;
 "But surprisingly,we were told that we cannot be allowed to see Nnamdi Kanu unless we go to Nigeria prisons headquarters at Gwagwalada and obtain a particular form,
"I personally sent someone who successfully went to Gwagwalada and obtained the said form, but to my greatest disappointment, when I presented it to them, they still directed us to another place to get another form. I also sent someone who also went and obtained the form, yet they still denied us access to visit Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and others,"

She further said that it is either that Nigeria is so jealous of the massive homage always received by Nnamdi Kanu from all over the world or maybe they wanted to get him assassinated having known that they {Nigeria} lacks any evidence to try and convict him of any crime.

Whatever be the reason, it is important for the entire humanity to note that in Nigeria constitution, every prisoner both those that have been convicted and those awaiting trial have the  right to receive visitors, in as much they meet up with all the conditions necessary. Therefore, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's case must not be different from others.

If anyone thinks that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu always receive lots of visitors, it is left for such person or authorities to challenge his right legally.

Furthermore, Biafrans are aware of the assassination plots being masterminded by the British government and that of Nigeria to eliminate Nnamdi Kanu systematically.

It is also noteworthy that few hours after Nnamdi Kanu's case on 6th of April 2017,the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr. Paul Arkwright made a very hypothetical statement during his lecture concerning Brexit and its effects. In his rather provocative statement, he maintained that Britain can never support the dissolution of Nigeria, because to him and the British government, the continued existence of Nigeria serves their modern day imperialism in Africa perfectly; however, little do they know that unity is never by force, and that what is good for Britain who have chosen to leave the European Union through a referendum guided by the principles of self determination is also good for Biafrans. Mr Arkwright should have known that whether Britain supports Nigeria or not, Biafrans still have their right to decide their coexistence with Nigeria.

Lastly, we are calling on the international community to warn the Nigeria government not to tamper with the life of Nnamdi Kanu, and to stop violating his human rights. Nigeria should be prevailed upon to urgently release Nnamdi Kanu and all Biafra activists held alongside with him; also, a peaceful referendum should be conducted for Biafrans to determine their faith in Nigeria.
