BIAFRA: Tears As IPOB Igweocha Buries A Gallant Biafran Hero Who Died In A Fire Accident

 On 15th of April 2017, over one hundred IPOB members from Igweocha stormed Awgu Local government Area of Enugu State Biafra Land for funeral ceremony of member a that died in a fire accident in Igweocha Biafra Land on 26th of March 2017 by name, Late Mazi Mathew Nwabueze Okolie, a hardcore Biafran activist popularly known as "Onyibo", he is from Ogbunabari IPOB family Zone Igweocha.


The IPOB family from Igweocha arrived Enugu at late hours of the 14th day of April with three luxurious buses and some other small cars for the wake keeping funeral ceremony. The IPOB members and the relatives of the late Mazi Matthew N. Okolie moved early morning of Saturday 15th to Orthopedic hospital Abakpa Enugu for the dead body in mortuary.


As they were heading to the village of where late Mazi Okolie at Aloma Obiofia in Awgu local government area of Enugu, there were series of demonstrations by the gallant  IPOB members, including those that also hails from Enugu.
The Biafran flags were being displayed in significance to the people the presence of IPOB members under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and that they have come to bury a family member and also a gallant Biafran hero.
 Many people from the community were so surprised at first instance seeing Biafra flag being displayed everywhere, and after some clarifications the multitudes also joined the IPOB activists in their activities.


According to testimonies, the deceased, late Mazi Matthew Nwabueze Okolie is a very good man, a humble and loyal member of IPOB whom his colleagues at the securities department testified much about him and some notable role he played in the Biafra restoration struggle.

The Media also seized the opportunity to interview some of the principal officers that came.
During an interview with the Deputy state coordinator Igweocha Biafra land, Mazi Onyebuchi Eze, he explained to us that the reason why they sacrificed their time and resources in large numbers to attend the funeral ceremony of late Mazi Matthew is because he has done a lot in the struggle and it is very painful that he couldn't stay to enjoy the fruit of his labour on Biafran restoration.

 He also encouraged everybody to remain formidable and also commiserated with the relatives of the deceased to remain strong because the good works of Mazi Matthew Nwabueze Okolie can never be forgotten.


The media tried to make out time and interview the relatives of the late hero, the elder brother to late Mazi Okolie who also gave us some word of admonition to continue in our good work.


The IPOB family as a whole also commiserated with the entire family of Matthew Nwabueze, and admonished them to remain strong, as the better days is approaching fastly and that we shall all see the restoration of Biafra and enjoy the everlasting goodness that follows.

The community were also made to know that IPOB is guided by one of code of conduct, which is love; hence called "Onurube Nwane Agbanaoso".

 The people were also sensitized to understand the need to join IPOB and support Biafra restoration under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the supreme leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra worldwide.


In conclusion, the Former Enugu state Coordinator, Mazi Chikwendu Agwu also did some needful to see that he seized the opportunity to mobilize some of the youth in the community to join IPOB, even as the burial of the Biafra hero was concluded successfully.
