BIAFRA: A NEW DAWN FOR IPOB IN ANAMBRA NORTH BIAFRA LAND

BIAFRA:  A NEW DAWN FOR IPOB IN ANAMBRA NORTH BIAFRA LAND

Last month, March 2017, we heard a live broadcast on Radio Biafra by the deputy director of Radio Biafra, Mazi Uche Mefor that Anambra State IPOB co-ordinator had been dismissed alongside few other co-ordinators, due to some issues. Now a new body has emerged to continue the struggle for the total restoration of Biafra.

Anambra north senatorial district was among the affected areas which brought in Mazi Chijioke Otaji to the front line as the new co-ordinator. The handover ceremony kicked off at about 1: PM on the 8th April, 2017.  The former co-ordinator of Anambra north Mazi Nwalozie was also there to officially handover to his successor. The
opening prayer was said and  the new co-ordinator,  Chijioke Otaji  addressed the excos.

He urged all the co-ordinators to create IPOB families in different communities down to the villages within Anambra north. He encouraged them to work hard for Biafra to be restored under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.  He revealed that hard work made him succeed when he was the Nkpor co-ordinator.

He made some changes among the local government area co-ordinators; some local government areas present were told to select their new co-ordinators, while some retained their former co-ordinators except for Onitsha south which could not agree on whom to choose, for now. Chijioke Otaji promised to visit them in order to resolve any issue in that zone. It is worthy to mention that Chijoke Otaji did not impose any co-ordinator on any local government area under his control. He allowed the people to choose who would co-ordinate them.  He gave the co-ordinators a stipulated time of two months to prove their worth in the struggle. Failure to do that, replacements would be made because all hands must be on deck to restore Biafra and should be taken seriously.

The issue of negligence by the past co-ordinators was raised, whereby no concern was shown to the families of those who lost their lives.  Mazi Chijioke Otaji calmed the situation and pleaded with everyone  to bear whatever injustices melted out to them and promised to set things right henceforth.  He stated clearly that he would do his best for the entire district within his jurisdiction as he must respect the chain of command laid down by the Biafran leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Mazi Chijioke Otaji warned all those selected not to see it or take the post as their inheritance but rather use it to lay down legacies that would speak for them tomorrow in this struggle. They should make sure they do the right things which would help to restore Biafra faster. He equally made it known that they could leave the post at any time should they be found wanting. The co-ordinators were also urged to set up new ideas to move the struggle forward but warned against anything that would jeopardize the struggle in Anambra north senatorial district.

Mazi Chijioke Otaji concluded by reminding everyone to respect and stand by the oath taken. Everyone must continue to obey the command and control of IPOB laid down by the Biafran leader and no one must go against Mazi Uche Mefor, the deputy leader.
