Seven senior principle officers of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, have been suspended indefinitely pending investigations into their involvement in the launch of a new Radio Biafra media outlet in the United States of America without approval from neither IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, nor his Deputy, Uche Mefor. The suspended individuals include: Dr Chukwuemeka Iroanya; Mazi Uchenna Asiegbu; Emeka Onyebuchi; Festus Anweke; Ogbonnaya Akpa; Leonard Animene; and Nmaram Ugochukwu.
"IPOB Directorate of State is hereby dissolved," stated IPOB Deputy leader, Uche Mefor during a live Radio Biafra broadcast this evening in London.
The suspension of these individuals has generated a wide range of reactions and outrage from Biafrans across various social media outlets over this perceived insubordination from notable members of IPOB leadership, even as they voiced their support towards the decision of the apex leadership structure of IPOB spearheaded by Nnamdi Kanu.
Meanwhile, the incarcerated IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu had earlier today distanced himself from the launching of the new Radio Biafra in the US, noting that although IPOB had considered opening a subsidiary Radio Biafra in the US, there is no approval from him or his deputy for the launch to take place today.
"Radio Biafra has approval and authorization to set up in America according to the U.S laws, but neither me or my deputy, Uche Mefor gave approval for it to go air today in America," Nnamdi Kanu told Premium Times through his Lawyer, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor.

How can we possibly restore the nation of Biafra with all these divisions and insubordination. May God please help us.
ReplyDeleteHistorically, most groups seeking selfdetermination or independence do have differences and even divisions among them. Mandela's African National Congress (ANC) and liberation movements in Angola and others, had their problems and even fought against each other. While the ideal is to have one or two major Biafra Restoration groups, one should remember that Biafra is a country of over 50 million people. The question, however, is: (1) Is there any physical proof that Kanu really approved the suspensions? (2) Were the suspended members given due process? This is crucial because Igbo and Biafrans will not tolerate any dictatorial group lording it over them (3) The suspension should be terminated immediately if there was no due process. The need to have a pro-Biafra Restoration Movement radio program and website based in the US cannot be overstated and is long overdue. Indeed the battle for Biafra Restoration will not be won in Europe or Asia but in America-by influencing the US political process. That was how the Tutsis, the South Africans and the Southern Sudanese Christians achieved independence. Britain will give in if the US supports Biafra.
Deletewhatever happens I stand with our leader Nnamdi Kanu and the deputy Uche Mefor
ReplyDeleteThis is not a good development. I am really disappointed at this. I have great respect for Iroanya. Why all these now.
ReplyDeleteNot strange, not at all. It is a sure part, an infallible sign of Godly project. Judas was important to the salvation we enjoy today from Christ. So, brethren courage! It, rather, would be strange for this not to happen before the great restoration. I heard our leader Nnamdi Kalu say before his incarceration, that ChukwuOkike needs only 100 faithful men to restore Biafra. Yet, we are millions. ChukwuOkike is simply doing some weeding, very important. Brethren, courage! Courage! Courage!
ReplyDeleteI believe in this struggle. There may be issues like this from time to time but that does not mean lack of cohesion or divisions. Finally Dr Iroanya is a man I have a lot respect for, therefore I expect him to eschew all bitterness and rise up to the occasion by declaring his loyalty to Nnamdi Kanu/ Uche mefor, to make peace by all means necessary and return back to the fold.
DeleteI love your understanding brother and we must proseed,, merny are still to show up untill that is don Biafra will be restored thank you for holding on
DeleteNNAMDI KANU PROPHESIED THAT A LOT OF US WILL FALL BY THE WAYSIDE.AND THAT HUNDRED PEOPLE WILL BE REQUIRED TO EXECUTE THIS PROJECT. BE ENCOURAGED EVERYONE.THIS CLEARLY SHOWS THAT BIAFRA IS DIVINE. EXPECT MORE ATTACKS BUT IN THE END WE WIN.WE ARE BIAFRANS...ALL HAIL BIAFRA
ReplyDeleteFellow Biafrans let's be united in order to achieve our aims lets not be divided. All hail Biafra, I stand with NNAMDI KANU.
ReplyDeleteIs really quite unfortunate that some of the respected leaders in ipob who supposed to know what the rules of engagements are continue to create some concerns in ipob, I'm in total support of the measures taken by our leader Nnamdi KANU and his deputy Uche Mefor. This goes a long way to prove that iPod is well disciplined, and it does not matter who you are, you must face the music once you go against the rule, unlike what is happing in the zoo called Nigeria
ReplyDeleteBiafra Agitation to me is the joke of the century. Igbo people are full of envy and hatred for each other.
ReplyDeletePlease Keep Niger-Delta Out of Your So-Called Biafra
Joke? It is a pity. Very early 1st century AD, Christ's movement was as well a "joke" to the people of His age; yet, His followers turned the world upside down. Technologies we enjoy today were at their inception condemned, and some fought against. The world has ever existed in Dispensations. Checkout history, none has ever been welcomed with cheers especially by the elites in the aging dispensation. They reject it, and later become the victims of the new dispensation. Get it. This movement is Divine. Noah got mocked, rain later came. Lot sounded like a clown to his to-be sons in-law, fire still burnt Sodom. It is about choice. Choose to reject or believe; you are already deciding your fate. May ChukwuOkike be worshiped ever!
DeleteI stand with nnamdi Kanu /deputy uche mefor
ReplyDeleteHaving thousands of R.station does/can not do a speck of what leader, #nnamdi KANU 1. Began/has finished, n, done with. These ar just being *smart, "smart guys, n overtakers"
ReplyDeleteLet proper investigation be carried out to discover why the launch of the radio station, if it is to further spread the gospel for the restoration of Biafra, then let it go and let them continue their work.
ReplyDeleteNevertheless, we must move on to restore our sovereign Nation (BIAFRA) because it is our inheritance and we cannot afford to loose it.
ReplyDeleteall this that happen is what need to happen,we need to know the true children of Yahweh before there enter the land of the raise sun[BIAFRA] always have courage,Biafra is closer to your door step.and things most happen.

ReplyDeleteI stand with mazi Nnamdi kanu and deputy uche mefor
ReplyDeleteMore is to come,But my question is will it be you tomorrow? God forbid ok let's wait and see who is the next. But who are this hundred men??
ReplyDeleteWhen you live a fraudulent life, surround yourself with mindless fraudsters. Then don't blame anyone for the result.
ReplyDeleteNnamdi made his bed the way he is lying in it, when he choose fraudsters and incompetent, eye-service hypocrites to surround himself eliminating genuine Biafra that he saw as challenge.
We continue to wish him to repent and do the right thing. Evil Nigeria or their British master has no right over him but his actions against his fellow Biafra is the.
The stuggle must continue
ReplyDeleteWe cannot actualize Biafra this way my brothers. This is why we from the Niger Delta are so wary of Igbo Biafra. We must eschew personal greed, selfishness, envy, hatred, bitterness, etc., if we must liberate Biafra from the murderous Islamic Nigeria. I've had great respect for all IPOB leadership and directorate of State. It's saddening to read about this insubordination and division going. We must repent and unite to finish the struggle. Mazi Kanu and many of our people are languishing in prisons across the nation. We are almost there brothers. All hail Biafra and God bless Biafra nation.
ReplyDeleteHonestly Uchemefor is dragging this struggle to the mold , How can you suspend such important and relevant personels in this struggle . What has Uche contributed to Radio Biafra rather than sitting down there talking nonsense ? He's been paid 2000 pounds a month while thousands of Biafra who does the work do it selflessly.. You went ahead to write nonsense about those men of integrity .Uche is the problem we have in this struggle and you Uche stop feeding Director with Lies ...But I know one thing you will be exposed soon .....
