FAMILY WRITERS PRESS TO HUMAN RIGHT ORGANIZATIONS: REJECT FURTHER POSTPONEMENT OF COURT RULING ON NNAMDI KANU VS NIGERIA GOVT

FAMILY WRITERS PRESS TO HUMAN RIGHT ORGANIZATIONS: REJECT FURTHER POSTPONEMENT OF COURT RULING ON NNAMDI KANU VS NIGERIA GOVT

Family Writers Press (FWP) of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a media organization which stands for truthful information dissemination about Biafra restoration, happenings in Nigeria and all over the world, hereby wish to bring to the notice of all the local and foreign Human Right Organizations within and outside Nigeria especially Amnesty Int'l, the questionable extension of ruling dates on cases between citizen Nnamdi Kanu and Nigeria government in both ECOWAS court and Nigeria Federal High Court Abuja without any justifiable reasons.

Family Writers Press is by this notice, calling on these human right organizations especially INTERSOCIETY and Amnesty Nigeria to as a matter of urgency reject any further postponement of the dates for the ruling of those cases under reference, should such attempt be made by any of these courts.

The cases under reference here are

(1) A case of laughable treasonable felony charge instituted by the Nigeria government against citizen Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the supreme leader of Indigenous People of Biafra in Nigeria Federal High Court, Abuja.

(2) A case of gross human right violation instituted by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu against the Nigeria government in ECOWAS court since March 3, 2016.

Family Writers Press has been an active media observer of those cases with sensational media coverage in conjunction with other Biafra sister media outlets in the watchful eyes of the amalgamated union of Human right observers and writers around the world during the court sittings since the two case files were opened in the domestic and sub-regional courts.

Family Writers Press is calling on these human right bodies to stand up in defending the human right of citizen Nnamdi Kanu now even as the right abuse is proceeding at the two hallowed courts - the supposed sanctuaries for defending human rights of the down-trodden.

It is not gainsaying that these two courts have been politically conniving with the Nigerian government to nail Nnamdi Kanu in order to satisfy the ungodly yearning of the ungodly tyrant of Nigeria, Gen Muhammadu Buhari. Family Writers intelligence unit has discovered that the two courts are under the blackmail of Nigerian government and are afraid to give ruling that will indict the Nigeria govt.

Family Writers Press is making the concerned human right bodies to be on the know that the ruling date for Nigeria Federal High court case presided over by Justice Binta Nyako is now on 1st March 2017. Also, the ruling date of the ECOWAS court case presided over by Justice Micha Wright is on the 7th March 2017. Any other adjournment for these two cases in these two courts or any other attempt to amend charges now that these cases are respectively awaiting rulings should be vehemently rejected and resisted by the human right bodies covering these two cases for over one year now.

Will these human right bodies be also intimidated and silenced by the tyrannical government of Nigeria as she intimidated Nigerian judges and ECOWAS sub-regional court judges? This is one question that will only be answered by human right bodies within and outside Nigeria as Family Writers Press cross its fingers in observation.

Family Writers Press want to make these human right bodies in the land to understand that the cry for justice from Mazi Nnamdi Kanu which ECOWAS court is playing ECOWAS sub-regional politics forgetting  that they stand to defend - human right abuses. It is time now for human right organizations all over the world especially Amnesty International to courageously say enough is enough and mandate these courts by the authorities vested on them as eagle-eyes of the world, not to tamper with these dates for the long awaited rulings of these cases under reference.

It is time for these human right bodies to begin to write to these courts and demand for justice so that the hard earned democracy in Africa can be protected. If there is no human right defense in a given society, then the democracy in that geographical location will be under threat and be consumed.

Family Writers Press want to conclude by telling these human right bodies that any court that supports human right abuse no matter who is the victim or who committed the offense  is sitting on a time-bomb which will explode in due time. I rest my case!
