FAMILY WRITERS COURT UPDATE: SCORES OF SECURITY AGENTS AT FEDERAL HIGH COURT ABUJA, AS FG SETS FOR SECRET TRIAL

FAMILY WRITERS COURT UPDATE: SCORES OF SECURITY AGENTS AT FEDERAL HIGH COURT ABUJA, AS FG SETS FOR SECRET TRIAL

A multitude of heavily armed security agents have been transfered to Federal High Court Abuja, as the Nigerian government led by president Muhammadu Buhari fastens its belt for the secret trial of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu and three other Biafra activists, which is expected to flag off today. Nnamdi Kanu and co-defendants, Benjamin Madubugwu, David Nwawusi and Chidiebere Onwudiwe are being charged by the Nigeria government of alleged treasonable felon.

Family Writers correspondents who are on ground to cover the court proceedings can confirm that the security agents are currently making the environment unbearable for journalists and media outlets who have come to cover today's court case.

Nobody, including the journalists have been allowed entrance into the courtroom, as the heavily armed security officials, mostly members of Department of State Services have barricaded the court entrance.

There are fears over the safety of hundreds of Biafrans and spectators who have come to the court in solidarity with Nnamdi Kanu, as scores of Nigeria Police and Military officers have mounted at strategic positions around the court premises.

More updates will be coming to you shortly as events unfold.
