REIGN OF TERROR IN NIGERIA: EFCC detains Fani-Kayode’s wife with her eight-month-old baby
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Monday detained the wife of former Minister of Aviation, Mrs. Precious Fani-Kayode in Ado Ekiti.
Precious, who was a guest of Governor Ayodele Fayose, had gone to an Access Bank branch in Ado Ekiti around 3p.m. for transactions when she was detained by officials of the bank.
Sensing that she was not being promptly attended, she inquired from officials what the problem was and was told she was being detained on the instruction of the EFCC.
Precious Chikwendu was DETAINED for over FOUR HOURS with her 8 MONTHS old baby, Aragorn in Access Bank, Ajilosun Branch, Ado Ekiti.
She was at the bank to withdraw money from her personal account, which has about N200,000 in it. She was DETAINED in the bank on the order of the EFCC! Even when her 8 MONTHS old baby was crying for food and water, she was held captive!
It took the intervention of Governor Fayose who stormed the bank to free the woman while the EFCC officials that would have whisked her away were still being expected. Here is the picture of Fani-Kayode's wife with her 8 MONTHS old baby after they were rescued by Governor Fayose.
