REASONS WHY TOTAL DISSOLUTION OF NIGERIA IS THE SOLUTION

I am a Biafran by origin but if I were to be an Arewa or Oduduwa man I would still support a state out of the Nigerian state because simple logic and common sense gets the arithmetic done. Since the amalgamation of the southern and northern protectorate which turned out to be Nigeria, there have been numerous record of conflicts and disagreement between this two cardinals. To truncate a long story, it got severe to the point of breaking out the first "black on black genocide" from 1967-1970 of which more than 3million Biafrans lost their lives.
Based on records, I don't think any year has passed without a record of conflict between this two since after the war. And one may ask why it has been so. The basis of it all lies in the differences in looks, culture, origin, mentality, foods, fascinations and so many others. Nigerians are totally two different species that were forced to live as one. Now if this has been working, I don't have a problem. But it has not been working. It has only resulted to sending millions to their early graves of which more of this generation will be a victim if the right thing is not done.
When a southerner emerges as the Head of State the northern region gets bias and will do anything within their reach to pull him down in order to slot in their own. This gave birth to the Boko Haram story that has refused to end today. Same thing goes when a northerner emerges, the south feel marginalized. Now tell me how this can ever work if it has refused to work since the amalgamation of Nigeria in 1914. Should we continue to live without telling ourselves the truth? The only solution is for the people to go their separate ways as it will do more good than harm.
The agitation for Biafra will never end instead it will pass through from one generation to the next generation. To truncate a future blood bath let Biafrans go their ways because in actually sense, we were forced to join the union and were never consulted. I am not supporting the Biafran state because I am a Biafran, but because I have allowed common sense to judge. Currently the war has begun but may the Almighty God prevail.
As the northern soldiers are killing peaceful protesters in Biafra land, come to think of it, its not a big deal that someone doesn't want to be part of a union again. Why would you insist they must be? This is 21century and not an empire era when people conquer people to be part of a union. Now the only reasons some people would not want a state out of the Nigerian state is only because they don't care about the people being subjugated inside it and also the fact that they lack knowledge of the Nigerian history.
