IKE EKWEREMADU: REMNANT OF BIAFRA GENOCIDE

IKE EKWEREMADU: REMNANT OF BIAFRA GENOCIDE
Sen. Ike Ekweremadu

By Blessed Orji

For Family Writers

Those who stubbornly closed their eyes and stuff their ears as not to believe the gospel as preached by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, or those enraged at the truth and power of his words terming it "hate speech" has buried their faces in shame. He told the world that those from Biafra land who support one Nigeria or serve the evil forest called Nigeria or engaged themselves in sabotaging efforts at restoration of Biafra must come back with bitterest experience and disgrace. They forgot they are Biafrans from Biafra land. They make bold and heartily denied their identity and while the voyage in Nigeria government last closed doors for the youths, in education, electricity ,good roads, employment, pension and security.

The fact that Ike Ekweremadu mentioned Biafra in the national assembly and others supported him to resist intimidation from impostors show that they are still remnants of Biafra genocide frowning at excesses of suppression and oppression. His posture no doubt may have fan suspicion and misrepresentation of his person and position in the helm of affairs in Nigeria government. Persecution as expected is heaping upon him particularly from the oppressors. Nevertheless, the survival of indigenous people of Biafra hunted like games in Islamic Nigeria by the Fulani herdsmen, boko haram, police and army coupled with ruthless political slavery and British imperialism reveals how enormous the task before all members from Biafra land in national and state assembly. They need not be told that the patience of Biafra people whom they claim to be representing has been taxed to elastic limit of human endurance.

Ike Ekweremadu visited Nimbo Uzo uwani communities, Enugu state Biafra land and witnessed the heinous crime against humanity meted on indigenous people of Biafra. The Islamic Nigeria government under tyrant Buhari assisted Fulani herdsmen to massacre Biafra people. That's just a token of what Biafra people are suffering in the evil contraption called Nigeria. The brutal invasion of St. Edmund Catholic Church in Nkpor Agu and subsequent massacre by military forces is still fresh. We need also mention the armored tanks rolled out in Ngwa High aschool Aba against praying Biafra families by 144 battalion Nigeria army, Obehie. Abia state and the uncountable casualties in isiala Ngwa credited to 14 brigade Ohafia,Abia state. In onitsha,Asaba,Awka,Enugu,Portharcourt,Uyo,Yenegoa, there was a killing cry. Biafra crying for her children lying in the pool of their own blood, All over major roads and streets painted red with blood of peaceful protesters. Our mothers molested. Young girls raped, school pupils shot and highways made death zone by trigger happy Nigeria soldiers. Many are still missing not counting those strangulated by military and silently buried in barracks. Time shall tell of those hissing in various secret cells undergoing rigorous torture without evidence of crime except asking for freedom.

It become imperative to remind Ekweremadu and other silent Biafra remnants still with Nigeria in civil or military service that their reputation is a priced possession; Biafrans are friendly and loyal people with highly developed sense of justice and equity. There is Gold in Biafra land. Biafra has coal, rice, lignite, lead and uranium. There is palm oil and kernel. Biafra has cocoa, groundnutas, yam and cassava. There is oil and gas. We react to people the way they behave towards us. We tend to assure the world and Britain that we deeply appreciate the gesture..Brexit. We expect Britain at this point to respect our BIAFREXIT aspiration an inalienable right to self determination. The world should encourage our growth towards independent national existence. This will sustain our faith and of other oppressed indigenous people of the world on the united nation charter and straighten the cord of equal rights

We may not dictate what Ike Ekweremadu or others shall do to protect their good name as great Biafrans, they should read the handwriting on the clay wall. Defend your people and place because there is no place like home. Do not be intimidated or wait until your honor is dragged to the mud before you claim your identity. Biafra land is under siege and Nigeria is working towards ruination of your carrier and frustrates you out of office. Britain and Nigeria press under reportage or total silence of Buhari to the incessant massacre of your kith and kin makes your attitude and reactions give a wrong or right impression and answer to many doubting your political maturity. Find time to listen to radio Biafra live programs. It will add valor to your few experiments in soliciting for justice for the dead and most especially support the motion for Biafra referendum and free yourself from the suspicion that you feather your nest with largesse from the blood of massacred indigenous people of Biafra
