RESULT OF THE ONLINE REFERENDUM OF BIAFREXIT CONDUCTED BY FAMILY WRITERS
The Biafrexit Referendum Of June 2016 was an unofficial,non-binding online and publicly organized poll held among the social media users in Nigeria. The Vote Known As DIGITAL BIAFREXIT was promoted by Family Writers led by Emeka Gift.
TURNOUT AND RESULTS;
According to Family Writers Staff, 1265 Nigerians Participated In the online Referendum (71% respondents) and 1250 of them (69.8%) voted "YES" to Biafra Exit From Nigeria, And 15 Of Them (1.2%) Voted "NO".
Family Writers staff has carried out a series of investigation to ensure that the online Referendum guaranteed authentic, free and legitimate votes. it was verified that the poll were made in a responsible and transparent way,and that voting was conducted through various social media platform so that voters could express their preference without any intimidation, violence or administrative interference/manipulations as always witness in Nigeria Elections.
