Amnesty International has made a move to investigate the human right abuses that took place in Onitsha-Nkpor where the innocent and peaceful people of Biafra gathered to remember their heroes’ who died in 1967 to 1970. The peaceful heroes’ day turned bloody when Nigerian army sporadically shot to kill unarmed Biafrans.

Effort to speak to Amnesty International proved futile as protocols demand, we headed for another mortuary where three members were kept. While mathematically, the number of victims seen and admitted by the military is 14 while scores were nowhere to be found and the military denied keeping their corpses while pictures and videos documented proved otherwise. Estimated 40 were said to have been killed as families all over Biafra are complaining of missing ones.

Amnesty International would officially make press release on the out-come of their investigation in defense of human right which the institution has been in the forefront for years. While there would possibly be a press conference after investigation might have been made public, it is important to appreciate the effort to making the world a better place.
We are waiting for their press release because it has come to the stage where Amnesty International can't pretend to be ignorant bout what's happening to Biafrans in this contraption. Is time Buhari & Buratai including Arase, Obiano & the others are locked up for justice to be done, theses men are evil human lives means nothing them anymore. They'll suffere here on earth & in the hereafter.
ReplyDeleteTen unarmed biafra celebrating the heroes day where executed yesterday after the top ranking officers of 302 artillery regiment ordered the lieutenant or captain military doctor in charge of the MRS in the barracks to inject the unarmed biafrans with drug that will slowly kill them but the lieutenant refused but after the day job when he the lieutenant in charge of the hospital (MRS) might have gone home. Then, the adjutant now ordered them to go and kill the ten of them.
ReplyDeleteThey were shot and buried at the barracks burial ground just three minute drive (i.e opposite the army children school one along the main road) by right hand side when entering through the main gate.
May their souls rest in peace.
A biafra nurse on duty that day leaving in the barracks authoritative told us. She immediately called her brother in diaspora to alert him on the matter.
What comment are you requesting for when your desire is just to project yourself and not the general voice of all. Surely we know that such will be the problem with Biafra
