Take it or leave, America is at the verge of collapsing and a brash who anchors on the truth alone can resurrect the America we once knew. ISIL-DAESH is a monster that America could not contain or kill, North Korea is showing off her strength at the detriment of America. Iran has nuclear right at the detriment of the most natural and unbreakable ally of America. American President today genuflects before the Saudi King, who honours who? Injustice is on the rise in all parts of the world which indirectly reflects the ‘failings’ of America. Defenceless Christians and people are killed every day in their millions without America having any clue of how to influence the situation. The American influence is withering significantly and there is the need for a brash who anchors on the truth.
In Syria, the influence is worsening and Russia is stepping up. America must regain her fear factor or she falls and only a brash can regain it. The US Republican primary is over and Trump is the presumptive candidate for the GOP, the hotly contested primary came to its abrupt end when Trump got 53% of Indiana vote’ which prompted Ted Cruz his closest rival to throw in the towel. This is the most shocking victory in the history of America, despite the opposition from the establishment, Trump emerged the flag bearer. While the shock is still fresh, GOP is already falling apart but Trump has promised to unite his party and according to him “he thinks Clinton will be defeated in the major race”. America really wants Trump but an American establishment does not want him.
This however defines democracy in America and shows that indeed only America can decide who rules America. Trump has been an outspoken character who says things the way they are without massaging them. He attacks his attackers’ ten folds and reach climax of offense in most cases. This to some people is not politics because politics does not demand blunt truth but the question today is, does America want truth? While this is the case, the major election will answer the question. The successful businessman has succeeded in places he was expected to fail, despite his zero experience in politics; he has won where politicians lost. This is testament to the fact that he is closer to his people than politicians are. America needs not ’politics’ but an offensive character to regain her withering status.
On the other side of the coin are the Democrats that are most likely to produce Hillary Clinton. Sanders have shown signs of taking this battle to party convention. He has not been mathematically eliminated; he could as well replicate Trump’s magic. Clinton is the favourite for the establishment with her wide margin able to secure the nomination. Sanders must pull significant percent in coming primaries to take the battle to party convention. Clinton is believed to be politically grounded and has involved significantly in Obama’s regime, playing remarkable roles and even got embroiled in an e-mail scandal. To most people, Clinton is supposed to be in prison but to me politics is about taking decisions that sometimes give political edge than taking ones that serve the people. No politician is a saint and neither is a philanthropist a saint. Obama’s regime is a failed regime and if Clinton is part of the regime, it won’t be wrong to say ‘Clinton is a failed project” I have known America for quite a long time, the electorates are conversant with situations at a very given time. They put national interest above likeness and party affiliation is often not an issue.
The contest is often between Democrat and Republican. These two establishments have their ideologies and often work in a balance to achieve greatness for America. The Republican goes in and affects its ideology and after eight years, they come out for Democrat to go in and effect its own which gives a proper balance to American nation. If one is allowed to run more than it should, the effect might be bad for America. They have not tried it and they are not ready to risk the status of America. Obama’s Democrat has done its best and shown its weakness and Trump’s Republican is expected to strengthen the weakness of Democrat to equate the balance. Clinton is Obama’s legacy and there is no way America must continue with his legacy without crumbling. A new ideology is needed, an ideology that is brash and straight, stick and carrot approach has lasted and now a brash is needed. There is the need for America to go for a brash or risk a fall, should Clinton be the choice, let her be a brash or be urged to be a brash. If Trump is the choice, there is nothing to lose because he is a brash and Clinton will only strive to be a brash like Trump.
