OPEN LETTER TO BUHARI’S FG ON THE POSITION OF BIAFRA AND OHANEZE

OPEN LETTER TO BUHARI’S FG ON THE POSITION OF BIAFRA AND OHANEZE

Buhari
I found it very important to make it clear to “President” Muhammed Buhari and reach out to his government. I addressed you by “President’’ to reassure you that Nnamdi Kanu is not agitating to overthrow your government. Nnamdi Kanu is agitating for your government to declare freedom or independence for the people of Biafra. He peacefully asked you for that and instead of responding peacefully by calling him to a round table and tabling reasons that you won’t grant his request, you instead threw him into your prison, you did not throw him in there alone but declared that you will never release him despite court orders.

Some of your allies and supporters have called for the head of Nnamdi Kanu on grounds that he talked too much, called you names and demanded for arms. He was accused of hate speech while we have not seen any hatred from Biafrans to Nigerians. When we were deported from Lagos, subjected to multiple taxation outside Biafra land, and living without any federal infrastructure or social amenities “President”, Muhammed Buhari ,you accused our leader of hate speech but you have defined and shown hatred to us. Don’t go too far, check your kitchen cabinet and you will see how much you loved us and when we talk about your hatred that we may be aware of it, you accuse us of hate speech.

Sir, when you threw Nnamdi Kanu into your prison, I don’t know what you were thinking, your bigotry and hatred blinded you. Are you not aware that there are millions of Nnamdi Kanu and you can’t finish arresting them. When you threw Nnamdi Kanu into the prison without talking to him, do you expect us to praise you? No sire, we have honour and you had better prepare for the worst, you will kill us and imprison all of us, we will come down heavily once your final deed is done on Nnamdi Kanu and everyone will feel it. You will leave this your country and run away while innocent men and women shall die simply because of your mistake, bigotry and hatred.

Sir, no matter what Nnamdi Kanu might have said, you are supposed to commend him for not raising arms or involving any form of violence. Sir, Nnamdi Kanu talked to get your attention, hence he won’t beat you or kill or involve violence, his only option is to say things that will drag attention to himself. Sir, finally he played over your brain by getting your attention and luring you into arresting him. Today you are the person that will cause violence or war in Nigeria and the law and posterity will not spare you. When it went viral online that Nnamdi Kanu solicited for arms, you forgot to ask will someone that wants to wage war be doing that online or publicly and you have also failed to ask what exactly did he say he wanted to do with the weapon even though you mistakenly took him serious. Sir, are you not aware he said the weapon will be used against Boko Haram or is fighting against Boko Haram fighting your government?

However, Ohaneze Ndigbo has come like ants to eat from the situation; all they want is money, appointment and relevance. You might have known Ohaneze and working with them for a very long time but now a leader has emerged. You can only talk with Nnamdi Kanu and everything will be over but engaging in anything with Ohaneze Ndigbo is engaging with the enemy of the people. They have no member or hold the mandate of the people. We shall mob them if they come close to us and there is need to inform you.
There is time left to save the situation, you might be thinking that Biafrans will defend should violence emanate, no, we shall be on the offensive because we have the sympathy and everything it takes to engage you in violence. Nobody is pleading anybody but I am of the opinion there should be application of common sense. We want Biafra and we can discuss how Biafra will be given, by referendum or outright declaration. Good campaign can even get you victory in referendum. Sir, we can exist as united Africa and move on diplomatically, helping each other achieve their various goals as different states. You can’t force unity unless you want slavery but we are too big to be enslaved, we are Biafrans and shall choose death than to be enslaved.

Ohaneze Ndigbo has been disconnected from the people, that organization is organization of few men that exist on executive level without any member. They cannot say a word and it binds, believe you me Ohaneze has nothing to do with Biafrans and even the Igbo speaking Biafrans have long rejected them. They are now more or less a pressure group pressuring you for their personal gain. They owe not the people neither do the people owe them, they are non-existing. There is one leadership the people listen to and that is leadership of Nnamdi Kanu.

Your dialogue whatsoever with Ohaneze is your personal business and has nothing to do with us. Biafra is non-negotiable and on that we stand, we have lost more than we should turn back, you have killed and wasted more blood that instead of going back, we all die like our fallen comrades. Those comrades you murdered in cold blood, we are ready to die for them but this time you will shoot us and we will shoot back without retreating. It happened in 1967 and I am glad you have not learned, you are convinced it will go like that again but I can assure you that pay-back breathes in every living Biafran.

Finally, I wish to warn again that Ohaneze Ndigbo is a shame and any dialogue or discussion with them will not have any effect. They are scavengers after your money and favour, they have nothing to do with Biafrans and shall face jungle justice from the people in due time. Nnamdi Kanu remains the only person that can be talked to and Biafrans shall die or live at his command.
