APPEAL COURT UPDATE: CASE ADJOURNED
The case has been adjourned to 25th of April after the defense counsel to the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra prayed the court to fix the hearing on 5, 6 and 7 of April.
He gave reasons for the time extension which he cited distance, chance and study of the matter. Meanwhile, the court instead gave 25th of April for the hearing of the matter. The defense counsel is praying the court to set aside the sudden twist of the high court to allow secret trial after previous ruling that opposed secret trial.
On same note, the trial Judge Justice John Tsoho has been accused of bias when he ate his vomit; such move subjected the integrity and dignity of the court under scrutiny and put the fairness of the judge into question.
