BUHARI FIRST MEDIA CHAT: I CAN KILL ANYONE AND NOTHING WILL HAPPEN

MUHAMMADU BUHARI FIRST MEDIA CHAT: I CAN KILL ANYONE AND NOTHING WILL HAPPEN
By Okonkwo Isaac Somto
(For Family Writers)

The dictator Muhammadu Buhari has vowed to continue holding Nnamdi Kanu in detention regardless of court order. Buhari said during his first Presidential Media Chat since coming into office on May 29, 2015 that he would not allow Nnamdi Kanu to jump bail. Nigerians and members of the international community are now fully aware that President Muhammadu Buhari is the chief law breaker and chief enemy of constitutionalism and rule of law in Nigeria. Buhari still believes he can do whatever he indulge in as long as he is the president of Nigeria and nobody is competent and proficient enough to question his authority.

This is a president who won his election by creating havoc and mayhem before he came into power. He threatened to make the country ungovernable if he lost the presidential elections in 2011 and his 2015 elections was single-handedly sponsored by Rotimi Amaechi (fraudster and criminal), who stole over $1billion in office. Rotimi Amaechi is today the minister for transportation in Buhari administration, so much for malam Buhari fight against corruption. Muhammadu Buhari had poor human rights record during his military regime and he still thinks he is above the law as a democratic leader, he see himself as the Judge, the jury and the executioner.

Apart from incoherence and uncoordinated nature of Buhari’s media chat, the President’s open opposition to rule of law and constitutionalism is an open invitation to anarchy and lawlessness in Nigeria. In the security forces’ circles, it will lead to return to “I can kill you and nothing will happen” or “your long detention without trial is sequel to orders from above”.

The President’s open contempt to constitutionalism and rule of law can also bring about mass resort to self-help and civil disobedience as well as disrespect and degradation of social values and sharp increase in criminal activities particularly street and cyber crimes, domestic violence and communal and urban neighborhood violence. I just want Mr Dictator (Buhari) to understand this- As long as Nnamdi Kanu is in detention, Biafrans will never stay silent. And for his information, there are men and women who are fiercer than Nnamdi Kanu who are ready to get Biafra regardless of the consequence.

Continuous detention of Nnamdi Kanu will not stop Biafra it will hasten the coming of Biafra. Nnamdi Kanu is Not Biafra but a body in Biafra and there are millions of Biafran youths who are ready to die for Biafra no matter the cost and to them its Biafra or death. So Mr Dictator, we know you hate Biafrans so much that you still promised to kill more Biafrans to keep Nigeria as one but I promise you that no more biafran blood will be used to cleanse Nigeria instead its your Blood that Biafrans will use to get Biafra, this is not a threat but a response to your actions. We have had enough unlawfulness and malfeasance from the Nigeria Government and it seems we can no longer trust the law to defend us. So Malam Buhari 2016 is the Beginning of your COUNT DOWN! Enjoy it while it LASTS!

Buhari Appoints Gen. Danjuma, Dangote To Lead Committee On North-East Rehabilitation
President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday said a committee to rehabilitate infrastructure and resettle Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs in the North-East sub-region will soon be formally inaugurated.
The committee, to be led by a frontline statesman, Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, a retired lieutenant general, will also include Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, a statement by spokesperson, Garba Shehu, said.
Speaking at the State House, Abuja, in response to a goodwill message delivered to him by a group, Women In Politics Forum (WIPF), President Buhari announced that all forms of assistance and aid in this respect, generated locally and from foreign countries as promised by the Group of Seven of Industrialized Countries (G7) would be channeled through the committee when inaugurated.
He said he had compiled a list of damaged infrastructure, including schools and bridges and handed it to the leaders of the G7 and the United States, adding that “I didn’t ask for a Kobo (in cash). It is up to them to choose what they will undertake. Already, some of them have sent teams to verify our assertions.”
President Buhari decried the impact of the Boko Haram violence on women and children, declaring that they are its worst victims.
“In the North-East, what I saw for myself and on those clips is a source of concern for people with conscience,” the President said. “They are mostly women and children who are orphaned. Some of them don’t even know where they come from. This is the pathetic situation in which the country has found itself.”
He said the fight for the return of the Chibok girls was ongoing and “continues to be a most worrying issue” to his government, emphasizing that the administration will do all within its powers in making the best efforts to secure their freedom.
The President acknowledged the case made by the WIPF for better representation of women in his government and assured it that women would fare well in the composition of parastatals and their boards in the first quarter of this year.
He also defended the records of the administration in response to criticism that it is slow, arguing that steps must be taken with caution to avoid mistakes.
“People say we are slow. We are trying to change structures put in place by our predecessors in office for 16 years. If we hurry it, we will make mistakes. That will be a disaster.”
President Buhari assured that the country has a budget proposal for the new year that is good for employment and manufacturing.
“By the end of the second quarter, the full impact of these positive measures will be felt,” he told the visiting women.
The WIPF, made up of women leaders from 26 registered political parties, led by Ebere Ifendu of the Labour Party, expressed their full support for the government’s war on corruption and insecurity.
They asked the administration to usher in laws to promote gender equity as well as action towards the implementation of the Violence Against Persons Prohibition Act.
The Women’s group made the record of being the first organization to be received by the President in the New Year.
