WHO HAS COMMITTED TREASON BETWEEN NNAMDI KANU AND MUHAMMADU BUHARI?

According to section 37(1) of the criminal code Act,"treason" occurs when someone actually wages a war, or conspires with any person to wage war against the country "in order to intimidate or overawe the President or the Governor of a state", and it is punishable by death. "Treasonable felony", on the other hand,Section 41 of the criminal code Act tells us is an "intention" to commit treason.
Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) forcefully took over power in a bloody military coup d'etat on 31 December 1983. He overthrew the democratically elected government of President Shehu Shagari,suspended the Nigeria constitution and imposed himself as the Head of State. Muhammadu Buhari in July 30 1975 was among a group of officers that overthrew the Head of State,General Yakubu Gowon. In July 1966, Muhammadu Buhari as a Lieutenant of the Nigeria Army was one of the participants in a bloody coup led by Lt.Col. Murtala Muhammed that overthrew and assassinated General Aguiyi Ironsi and many other officers, has Muhammadu Buhari been made to stand trial for committing treason? No! But he is currently in power due to the lawlessness of Islamic-Nigeria.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Director of Radio Biafra and Biafra Television and is been charged with treason at the Abuja High Court. Nnamdi Kanu has used his oratory and intelligence via Radio Biafra broadcasts to galvanize millions of followers all across the world. Neither he nor his followers have ever engaged in any act of violence or terror against any person or government even in the face of brutality and intimidation by the Nigeria armed forces. Nnamdi Kanu is leading Indigenous People of Biafra to exercise their right to self-determination as enshrined in the United Nations Universal Charter on Human Rights. He has been accused of soliciting for arms and bullets at the last World Igbo Congress meeting held in Los Angeles,USA and in that same meeting he made it clear the arms and bullets are needed to defend his people against the onslaught of Islamic BokoHaram and Fulani Herdsmen. It is also on record that Nnamdi Kanu led Nigerians living in United Kingdom to the Nigeria Embassy in London to protest against the killing of Christians,destruction of churches and properties in Northern Nigeria by Islamic BokoHaram and the need for the government to tackle the insurgency. Nnamdi Kanu has not overthrown any government neither has he any intention to do so.
Nnamdi Kanu was arrested in Lagos state since October 18 2015 by the state secret service. He has been subjected to inhuman treatment, torture and denial of medical attention, lawyer and family members. The spurious charges of belonging to an unlawful society and sponsoring terrorism filed against him at the Wuse Magistrate Court and Abuja High Court respectively has been discharged and acquitted but President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered for his continuous detention. On 23 December 2015,a fresh charge of treason was filed against Nnamdi Kanu at the Abuja High Court but the assigned judge to the case excused himself from Nnamdi Kanu's case because he knows the charge is baseless and the government secret service will not adhere to his judgment if it does not favour it. Let every sane mind drop sentiment aside and be the judge.
