Any dialogue with the federal government without Nnamdi Kanu is nonsense----Edeson Samuel

Any dialogue with the federal government without Nnamdi Kanu is nonsense----Edeson Samuel

The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, on Thursday maintained that any fruitful dialogue must be led by the detained IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

The groups in a joint press briefing addressed in Enugu by Edeson Samuel, MASSOB director of information, and Ugwuoke Ibem Ugwuoke, MASSOB Secretary General, insisted that nobody had the mandate of either the MASSOB or the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, to dialogue with the federal government.

They, therefore, maintained that any fruitful dialogue must be led by the detained IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

“there is new development; we want to react on the so-called dialogue between Nigeria government and some people who claimed they are representing us.

“We were shocked to learn that some Northern leaders and Senator Godswill Akpabio met and discussed about our agitation.

“These persons that sat in Abuja, even the people from the South-East, we disown them; we don’t know them; before you discus, you must first of all discus with those on the street; we don’t know Akpabio, we don’t know Dozie Ikedife as far as this matter is concerned; Ikedife is not part of what we are doing; he has shown hatred for Nnamdi, so how can he meet with government to discus Nnamdi?”

The Biafra group added that, “we also understand that Ikedife’s Bilie Human Right Initiative has their own agenda, they have firm belief in Nigerian constitution; we, the MASSOB members don’t have belief in Nigeria’s constitution because it is a fraud against our people.

“The MASSOB and other pro-Biafra groups advise Bilie Human Right Initiative to retract their belief in Nigeria constitution because this ties our hand to unknown law against our people.

“For the past one month, we have been protesting peacefully over Nnamdi’s release; if Nigerian government is sincere over dialogue, they must meet with the leaders of MASSOB and the IPOB.

“It is curious that Akpabio, who disowned us, who said that Akwa Ibom is not part of Biafra, now wants to negotiate on our behalf, this is fraud; we are advising the Nigerian government not to take them serious, we shall continue our peaceful and non violent protest.

“We have two simple demands- release Nnamdi Kanu, give us Biafra; we are not agitating for good roads or infrastructure.

“These people that claim to be Igbo leaders are not in control of the masses, we shall soon demand for a referendum, that’s the next step so that the whole world will know that the people are no longer interested in nigeria.

“Any dialogue with the federal government without Nnamdi Kanu is nonsense; we demand that he should be released and he will lead the dialogue.”

On Ralph Uwazurike who had now formed a new group, MASSOB said, “he is a confused person, he is propagating the oneness of Nigeria; Igbo land is not landlocked, Biafra is not landlocked, the Biafra the late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu declared in 1967 is not landlocked.

“Uwazurike is a forgotten issue, nobody should take him serious, he is the greatest sabotteur of Biafra. His name is a taboo.

“Similarly, there will be a revolution against so-called Igbo leaders who are making negative comments against Biafra.”

  1. WHEN BOKO HARAM CASE CAME UP,HOW MANY COMMITTEES DID THE NORTH CONSTITUTE TO DISCUSS IT? WHAT IS THE PLACE OF THE NORTH IN BIAFRA? THEY SHOULD TALK ABOUT THE NORTH AND LEAVE BIAFRA ALONE! HOW MANY OF THEM HAVE SPOKEN AGAINST THE SHOOTING AND KILLING OF PEACEFUL BIAFRA PROTESTERS? WHAT DID THEY SAY ABOUT ILLEGAL DETENTION AND DISOBEDIENCE TO COURT ORDERS BY DSS AS REGARDS NNAMDI KANU'S BAIL?ENEMIES OF BIAFRA SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM BIAFRA!
