Virgin Atlantic Airline Sacks All Nigerian Cabin Crew Members
British largest carriers, Virgin Atlantic, has reportedly laid off all the Nigerian members of the Cabin Crew.
The development was made known through the emails sent to the affected persons by the authority of the airways owned by Richard Branson.
The Trent gathered that the Nigerian staff were allegedly given three weeks notice without any severance package.
About 20 air-hostesses were among the recently laid-off staff members.
Last year, the airline shut down their Nigerian call centre and laid off all the Nigerian staff in a similar manner.
Branson had at some point said he was weary about doing business in Nigeria, although the reason behind the most recent development has not been ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
